I would say she’s the best for anyone who prefers a RO who possesses a very independent personality, and wants to see the relationship steadily progress over time. Later examining the differences between her initial behavior and the later point when she becomes more familiar with the MC.
I share your idea, each person has the right to choose any path or option they want … but there will always be a reason, a “post” or “duty” that will prevent them and that will always be present even in our times

Yes, but why would the Lucraex kingdom wants a peace treaty? They have recently achieved a victory, so their army will probably in high morale (not taking into account their current economy and logistic mind you), yet they offer us their only princess’s hand in marriage rather than demand something from us?
True, but the only royal family left other than her are Prince Vincent and King Elyon IV, the king, who I estimate are on his twilight years and will probably be soon replaced by Prince Vincent, the fact that the de Blayves bloodline are currently endangered, discounting the possibility that the king will take another queen and successfully concieve a child and for that child to be old enough to rule (which is very unlikely in my opinion), would severely dampen the consequences she will suffer were she to act impudent.
Ah, I agree, seeing that I too am an ambitious person (luckily, I always put my faith and family above all else so as not to be heartless and ruthless), but then what? Run away with us to where? Will other kingdom (if there’re any, but there probably are) accept us? If they did, then maybe we’ll be able to lead a relatively normal life, discounting the occassional assassination attempt of course.
But to be honest, the prospect is tantalizing.
