I think reincarnation is an interesting subject but once you get beyond the: “Oooo, I am Alexander the Great reborn” aspect of it, where do you go?

The best series that I read built around reincarnation was “The Wheel of Time” series. Those books handled past lives correctly. I couldn’t write a story on that topic because I don’t think I could do it any better.

yeah, but if we follow the Simultaneous Time Theory (we can reincarnate in either the past, present, and future) some one can make a really good game where we get reincarnated in the medieval era but get the memories from our past life(our time present) and use our superior knowledge for our advantage.

I might as well skip reincarnation and do “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” if I did that plotline.

Now, an interesting concept to me would be if we picked someone from late Gen X or the Millenials and try to run the same scenario. Could we survive due to video game experience or something we learned in school? Like the Art of War, for instance. Or would they die quickly in harsher environments?

Could also try to bring more.modern, liberal concepts back as well.

that actually would be a really interesting idea to approach.

for this, the writer could try and make it so that the MC (15 years old or more) (once reincarnated in the medieval era) either could have a near-death experience and make him remember his past life(2017?). this way he already has some knowledge on the way of how to stay alive in his current era.

If that concept still didn’t work, you could be summoned back in time somehow. Your “spirit” could have knightly potential but your body and mind might be lacking. I would even be willing to go at the more difficult female path (would honestly feel more interesting to me due to the challenge.)

@Centralrouge Hmm. I’m not sure, since I haven’t used it in a little less than a year after one of the arrows broke and left little splinters under my skin -_- I think it’s a longbow. Anyway, I do archery barebow, and I had nobody to teach me even the basics (like that you need a freaking BRACE, or how to pull a bow) so I’m practically no good at it. Still, I could hit a target if it was close. Only one day one of the arrows got a little, teeny break in the middle, and while shooting the pieces of it got under my skin and I had to scratch at it with a knife until I got them out.

I am no where near that good in fact me and my dad where shooting at a kangaroo on a friend’s property P.S that is legal and I missed all my shots and lost my arrows
