Cyrus is sick of all the lies and manipulation, that is why he always blunt and direct, because he despise what he father had become.

No offense but there is a difference between being blunt and direct and being deliberately a jerk, and he throws around a few too many insults to be just “blunt and direct”. (And he actually reminds me of a guy I know; never met a bigger twaddler and his voice sounds like a resting bitch face, the way I imagine Cy is forever tainted).

There is a reason for them being like that.

There is a reason for everybody to be like they are. i just have no interest to romance some character just to hear their sob story. NPC is an ass to my character = my character will not engage further with them as needed (maybe if they excused themself or something…or if it’s to punch them in the face).

It works. Elemental Manipulation needs to be at 30 or higher.

Not entirely sure if it’s possible to get that stat that high this part of the game yet though. A few of the MCs posted here came close, but the coding’s there.

I think it’s possible, I could get 15 with fire (there’s a extra bonus at the festival for it, watching the fire dancers) while skipping over most of the the points for it, as in never using it to fight.
