Yeah I always saw the potential for that very interesting. Plus being a classic warrior is just awesome
Eh.
I’m thinking it’s the opposite. Bullshitting my way through decreases my grade by 10, but I still had a 100 by the end of it.
Wait, how do you find out what your grade is after the test?!
Check the stats screen: Course Transcript.
Stats screen has a lot of stuff.
So, is it possible to get peripheral abilities in the game so far?
Or is that option just schmuck bait, in the elemental exam?
For the royalty part, Astrid, Altair, Leon but most especially Cyrus and Cressida would all qualify (look at the mc hobnobbing with the upper-crust of magi society, eh?
) .
As far as the ice personality goes only Cressy would seem to qualify. Though Cy has a hard to pierce outer shell too.
Alty is of course the perfect modern gentleman, but I feel like we haven’t quite gotten to the real Altair underneath there either, as I feel we need to get him really invested in us before he’ll reveal those more hidden parts of himself.
Particularly given that cryptic fortune teller reading about him.
But she doesn’t seem to be an Ice Queen.
She have a facade of a sweet and friendly girl for everyone, masking her ambitions and dreams.
She doesn’t have a cold personality, in fact her romance show her being insecure, excited, sweet (not like in her “sweet girl” facade) and other range of emotions.
Well then I guess Cy would match the Ice Prince in personality most closely, even if he has a fondness for elemental fire, while his sister likes Ice powers.
Yeah, but that shell is not made out of ice but of jerk from all I saw by now…(And? Is there a heart of gold underneath or a heart of jerk?)
And, yeah, Cressy is most close to be an Alpha Bitch those however can become Defrosting Ice Queens too…
Really? Then what about her regular verbal hits to Astrid for example? That’s not very nice and at most fake. For me her niceness seemed like the fake part…hm maybe she is more of a Stepford Smiler if not an Alpha Bitch…
It works. Elemental Manipulation needs to be at 30 or higher.
Not entirely sure if it’s possible to get that stat that high this part of the game yet though. A few of the MCs posted here came close, but the coding’s there.

I truly envy MC for their social climbing skills, even if it’s made easy due being a curiosity in the community.
Edit: Also I thought Seraphina’s family was pretty well-off. Dragon pets don’t come cheaply, ya?
The cryptic fortune readings during Halloween and dream visiting as a Magician MC are my favourite parts from these two updates. There’s so much setup and I can’t wait to see how things unravel. I’m betting Kol and Altair hid the worst secrets since they’re so geniune.
I think Reyna fits that trope more? She’s already the Regina to Astrid’s Gretchen.
Could be…Rey fits it by now one hundred percent, I’m pondering if Cress could be more of a Stepford Smiler… those seem on the outside sometimes similar to an Alpha Bitch especially when getting introduced to her by a character that has not a good relationship (what’s basically Astrid). (But during the conversation at the party Cressy still was pretty…well, mean in the way she manipulated the conversation)
She and Astrid were in the enemy phase at the time, now they are back to the friends phase.
And she is a snarky ambitious person, she hides it behind the mask of sweet girl. But it you romance her, she is genuinely a sweet girl for you.
She is an Alpha Bitch for strangers and an Lovable Alpha Bitch (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LovableAlphaBitch) for her romance and friends.
Does this only happen if MC is involved in a friendly/romantic relationship with either of them? I never noticed that…(But by now neither Cressy nor Cy had many appearances in my playthroughs. Not much motivation to deal with people that like to act so nasty even if they can do better…okay, especially if they can do better.)
Like being part of the group that that’s stealing all that stuff? Alty would of course make for the perfect gentleman thief and Kol, well Kol’s use in heists would seem self-evident. With my mc’s sort of luck his long vanished father is probably the not so angelic ring-leader of the gang and either Cyrus or Cressida or both would likely be involved in it too.
Hobnobbing, yes, we haven’t actually done any social climbing, yet. As evidenced by the fact that my mc still has to borrow Leon’s clothes and get Astrid to make them fit, whenever he wants to wear anything remotely nice.
It would seem so, though we don’t know how much access she has to all of her family’s wealth since her family seems to consist of just her. She might only gain access to that vast fortune once she’s reached a certain age or meets certain conditions. For all we know she could be living off a rather modest stipend from some trust-fund.
You can ask Astrid about the twins, she will say she and Cressy have a complicated relationship, on and off friends and on and off enemies, and now they are friends again.
Astrid said they were friends before they knew about the cambions x nephilim politics, and they parents are friendly anyway.
If Cressida is romanced, she asks Astrid to enter the dormitory to ask the MC out.
So they are friends again.
There is a reason for them being like that. Cressida is under a lot of pressure to be like her father, so she has always to be a politician. If romanced, you can see who she truly is and how she can care about the MC.
Cyrus is sick of all the lies and manipulation, that is why he always blunt and direct, because he despise what he father had become.
But didn’t the game say that she shifted uncomfortably after saying that?
I’m actually talking about Altair’s fortune teller reading where it’s implied his current behaviour’s a facade; and Kol’s dreams (the lack thereof, actually) where there’s definitely something weird with him. That scene gives me the creeps. Seriously. Kleptomaniac rich kids sound equally fantastic and I’d be sad if that’s not Altair’s actual secret, or if that secret’s not as great.
Wait, yeah, I think I got my definitions mixed up.
Still. MC did get invited to meet with the High Priestess even if they’re not dragonborn, as well as be required to talk with the Cambion/Nephilim Secretary if they’re the respective species. Then there’s also how Cambion’s will suggest them to get to know Altair better if MC says they don’t like Leon (and be okay with the relationship if Leon’s their RO), and how Nephilim’s will kinda threaten them to get chummy with Seraphina or else.
I’m saying that MC’s important to all three factions of NMC for some reason. It’s kinda unusual that they were encouraged to hobnob by the representatives themselves.
I actually didn’t think of that. Maybe one of those certain conditions is to maintain a good grade in school and complete her nymph training?
I think it’s more of her being insecure of having to not only depending on others but of having to admit it too.
Ofc, I can be wrong.
That could be the case.
Speaking of Cressida being the politician, didn’t Cyrus say something about their father having this whole hate thing with cambions and dragonborns? Wonder what his reaction will be when he realizes his daughter is dating one.
She was dating Altair before, so it’s not like he is going to be surprised for her doing it again.
