@MangoFarmerDon’t you find Kol’s empty dream fake when the rest of our suitemates is doing something in theirs? Perhaps it’s just me then. Having a whole group of people staring silently off into a direction sounds more like a scene from a horror movie than something boring to me.
Or are they
eh probably, What if the form we see kol in isn’t the base form but a form they are more comfortable being in, and are to self conscious to show their true self
Kol’s an artificial being, which is why he doesn’t dream.
He has something on him that prevents visitors from looking into his dream too closely. Either for the reason @Drakeye said or something else.
Or, he’s actually the dragon in Thalia’s dream and he’s been visiting her dreams to help her practice for Battle Magic/Combat/MaR finals. The classroom scene is what it looks like when his mind is not around. We should’ve taken him at face value.
@Greyscales I thought it was something to do with him feeling disconnected or silenced somehow, but I really like yours and @Drakeye’s dream-prevention theory.
Alternatively, him as a dragon sounds great. I think he’s mentioned shifting into one before? I’m not too sure.
Attempt to intervene and reign Astrid and Leon in.
However, sometimes that doesn’t work. It always works for me, so if you fail then I really can’t tell you how to improve your chances. Maybe have a high relationship with both of them?
Hmm, I’ve always tried to intervene, but I never had a high relationship with both of them, just one or the other… I’ll try it again but with a high relationship with both of them. Thanks @AAO
And that’s exactly why I hate group assignments. I mean I guess I get the theory of “magic works better when done in a good tuned team”, but the room allocation is random as far as we know, or not? That means it’s very likely that at least a few teams are full of people that absolutely are not compatible with each other. I mean, you need to learn with such people, but some teams have just a higher difficulty that way… and it’s annoying for the few people that have to drag the most of their team alone
Side note: I like some of the new smileys like that one was needed for such a long time.
You mean Sera dragging our quirky team of misfits? I thought my mc acquitted himself rather decently, for someone who has only been practicing magic for a couple of months.
That’s exactly right, I think you have to take them down in exactly two actions or else grades start dropping. Once I mangled it and ended up on ninety so a ninety-seven wasn’t too bad. I’m obsessed with keeping all my grades at 100, which is weird because I don’t even know if there’s any benefit to it. I guess even if there’s no reward or bonus scene for perfect grades it still looks nice. That’s something.
