If I recall correctly, it’s only brought up once in that class and then you have a chance to investigate it if you skip Halloween.
I’m intrigued by them, actually. Since we have a chance to become one, we’ll meet one, and according to the code magi MC’s parents are part of them too. Because of the latter two I don’t think they’ll be the threat - or the villains - of this game. The murder attempts at the during Halloween (especially in the Hall of Mirrors) are more suspicious, I think.
Both are labelled “subplots” anyway, so that’s why I’m referring it as that.

Well considering this is magic school and our mc’s have a lot of catching-up to do that’s not really that surprising, of course I say that as someone who mostly prefers his mc’s to be both cute and clever.
Don’t forget the interest.
Consider it damages for the torn clothes and the injuries we sustained on her behalf when she more or less kidnapped us. Besides she seems like she can miss it. If it were one of our poorer suitemates going to the trouble to provide for us then paying them back would be a priority, however Astrid and her brother as well as Leon, Cyrus and his sister and Seraphina all come from such wealth they’d hardly even notice if $1000 went missing. As it stands my mc desperately needs money for his own expenses, first and foremost to piece together a decent wardrobe as he can’t keep borrowing from Leon forever, not to mention Leon likely has much more boring and conservative tastes than he does.
There’s also the normal expenditures like booze and possibly smokes to consider.

I noticed that a lot of people took up Leon’s offer for the job. 
I didn’t but I thought about it. I did the magic creature job instead.
It’s the one that pays the most. If Astrid ever asked for me to repay the loan I need to be prepared. It’s worth playing nice with Leon just for it.
Or I took it because it seems that could raise Cunning and Nephilim Approval even further.

I’m me? That’s the best answer that I can give. I got to 99, darn it one point off… Well I guess I am over 100 with manipulation included at least.
Does anyone know how powerful we will eventually become with Telekinesis? Will we be able to straight up fucking Force choke people by senior year?

I think I did ok. I know my MC can fight pretty decently anyway. I focused on fighting more than anything. 60 seems a little low tho.

I just focused on preping for the Duelist Tournament and this is what I got.
