Hopefully we can use some of the major events and choices of the past game to boost certain faction approvals.

On the topic of stat-setting, I’m curious to see how we’ll be able to set Sera/Yakov’s emotions, considering it was invisible and that many new players weren’t aware of its existence
They weren’t removed entirely. Faction relationship changes still exist in the 1st game, but we don’t really get to see its effects. I’m assuming stat checks will be implemented from now on.
Though I can’t speak for the author, I believe this is intentional. It reduces the number of stats the author has to keep track of and also makes it much easier for the player to raise/pass skill checks (which was more difficult in the old versions of the wip). The same happened to elemental manipulation and willpower-- light and darkness manipulation are combined with fire/ice/lightning manipulation and illusion with willpower. The stat checks for using each may vary slightly though. (E.g. During exams in the 1st game, darkness/light manipulation needed to be slightly higher than the base elements to be successful, and using illusions was restricted to kitsunes)
It’s the same thing, yeah.

Thank you very much!!
@BryEs2
Thank you!
@Keeperixx
Ritual magic and potions have always been combined. Thanks for asking!
@Nyahaha101 is right that it reduces the number of stats and makes it easier to pass stats checks. The areas are also considered relatively similar in-game.
@Nyahaha101
The Sera/Yakov emotions will probably be set only with the detailed “set stats directly” option when it becomes relevant.
Yep!

Oooh. So there will be different dialouge based on the hair color you choose? I chose black in the first game and Astrid compared it to Thalia. Wow, that’s a nice little detail. I’ve also noticed that the MC can have the same name as the ROs, will you add an extra dialouge line if the MC is named after a major character?

But my mc likes high fashion and generally high quality clothing, including bling-y accessories. So not being able to afford it while now being forced to mingle with high society in the public view is yet another thing he’s going to absolutely hate about that non-paying “keeper” gig.
I mean he was already kinda envious of Leon’s wardrobe if not so much its style, but if the paparazzi are going to be hounding him even just going to class in a pair of old jeans is going to awkward.
Indeed, I don’t think the mc is getting paid. At best if we show up for an interview in ratty old jeans and sneakers the TV station is going to lend us a suit and dress shoes, which totally won’t be in a style my mc likes for the duration of the interview only. The rest is just going to be “exposure”, which is absolutely worthless for anything.
Not if we want to have time for our friends and college, there’s a reason why (talent) “agent” is a full-time job and no, much like with expensive clothes you cannot afford a good agent and a good celebrity specialist lawyer on a middle-class income or savings.
It’s also moot my mc wouldn’t even want such a team because if he really must be famous he’d like it to be for something he did or accomplished, not something he simply is or worse something that was inflicted on him by his negligent, deadbeat dad duping his mom into it.
If only we could afford the real and high quality stuff instead of low-grade Chinese made “pleather”.

~ I’m confused. We didn’t have the “both parents” options in the first game, did we? So why is it an available choice here?
~ No appearance customisation?
~ Perhaps a “Because he’s our friend”/“Because I need him (lover)” option on the ‘why save Kol’?

We did. But our “parents” weren’t really our parents. They’re actually our aunts and uncles that adopted us because our biological parents died.
Will be available later in the game. This is just the first chapter.

Yeah we did, but they were our adopted parents.

A pity I didn’t get to proper play it before I was getting ready to travel to Australia. I assure you @daydreamsincolor, after I touch down and readjust, I will get back to this.

The only name restricted is the last name Delacroix, because the family is so plot-important.
There are already dialogue lines for MCs named Astrid or Altair, but if I have time I might go back and add one liners to the first game for MCs with the same name as other mains.
Added for tonight’s bug fix update! Thanks for the suggestion!
@MIGSey
Enjoy Australia!! I hope you have fun playing the demo when you have the chance!

I bet Cyrus, Leon and Sera thinks that there can only be one of them and would probably challenge anyone who had the same name as them.

I was hooking right away again just wondering though will we be able to choose who we romanced in the last game
Go to set stats directly in the beginning for that.

Cool. If I am successful enough can I force astrid and cressida into Kerse by making it the latest fashion trend?

I’m excited to play the sequel as I really enjoyed the first one!
Here are some things I noticed.
Summary

A small typo here it should be park instead of part.
Altair and Jarrod should be juniors now right?

Another typo here moth should be mouth.

Isn’t highly illegal when used for non-governmental purposes?
Are you going to add in whether or not you told Thalia and Yakov to stay back at school when you go fight Reyna?

Since in the first chapter your family meets Sera, I wonder if in this game your family can meet your RO? (I do not think this happens in the first game, but I might be wrong…) Should be interesting if they get a bit more exposure to the Magical word, especially the adopted parents because they are already not at all fans, it would certainly be interesting, especially if the MC is trying to maintain a good relationship with them.
