But there are also hybrids of original monsters who know noes why there potential might be so then the character can pick what they are combine different things to make a character

But it would be nice to have original monsters

@JLBH that was actually exactly what I was going to do. I will keep the council and the original supernaturals so that the character can pick what they are and they can also pick what attributes they gained from them.

Hmm, interesting, so is there going to be checks and balance system in place or does the organization doing this know enough about what they’re doing to pick and choose what traits they want to combine without side effects?

For example, do vampire traits come with them such things as OCD, photosensitivity, or bloodlust?

Do werewolf traits come with a vulnerability to silver and lunacy?

Things like that.

I haven’t really gotten to that point yet but let’s say we combine vampire and werewolf. You’ll still have the same bloodlust but with the werewolf trait you’ll lean more towards raw meet and a deer in the woods than you would a human. I mean you can still satisfy your thirst with humans but it’d be more of a choice than a necessity. You would be able to go out in the sun but you’d have to wear a hoody and sunglasses because your eyes and skin would be really sensitive. Plus with the werewolf side you don’t have to transform with the full moon but you’re more likely to be a night owl and you’re drawn to the moon. You feel stronger at night and damn near invincible during the full moon. Silver wouldn’t kill you, it just makes you really really sick.

Actually I’d say that such a combination should be called a Vrykolakas, since the greeks believed that a werewolf when slain would rise up from the dead as that form of vampire, retaining lycanthropic features.

Well i was trying to describe them not feathers and stuff but you know how bats have the bones supporting thier wings and the leathery skin is what the wing is made out of kinda something like that was what i was trying to get at
