Inputting name code?

Well you could do it both ways Wired…

No it would have no other choice

You have to put it after every option

Hmm do you even have another choice there? @AKNel1

@SweetKiss Tell me if it works.

Alright, so I’ve got this so far: (just to test to see if I’ve finally got it done)

// Specify the default starting stats here

stats = {
name: “None”
leadership: 50
,strength: 50

// Specify the stats to use in debug mode

debugStats = {
name: “None”
leadership: 50
,strength: 50

// or just use defaults
// debugStats = stats

(with the variables having their four spaces)

And then to test if it works (on the startup sheet):

What is your name?
*input_text name

Ah, so you are ${text name}

— But I still get script error.

Thats what im saying headhunter he only has that one no other option so it wouldnt be *choice

Whaddaya mean Wired?
For example
Actually my name is…
*input_text name
Blah, blah,blah

Write error here

I see Wired srry :stuck_out_tongue: lol

No he had
#input_text name

@SweetKiss You have everything right except the ending part. To show a stat, just type ${enter stat’s name here} and it will show you the stat. Oh, and be sure to replace the enter stat’s name here, with an actual variable.

Right which is what we were both saying

Aren’t the only variables that the game accept “leadership” and “strength”? So I have to type in either leadership or strength?

No i have fun, health, humanity, and knowledge. Those 2 are only examples

Oh cause I’ve typed in things as “Courage” and it never accepts it, unless I put leadership or strength in front of it first…

@SweetKiss The game accepts more than those two variables, it justs leaves them there as an example. You could have more than just those variables. So for what you are trying to do, you would type in ${name}.

Edit: I see WiReDcHiMpAnZeE has beat me to it. SweetKiss, would you show us what you mean by this.

Did you add a comma before the word?
