Edit: so my old problem was fixed so I changed the title, but I still haven’t figured out how to make “saves” for CoG when playing on browser.
Since, CoG removed the option to make saves for games that have planned sequals untill the next book is out, I would like to make saves near the end of the playthrough so when the time comes I can just quickly finish the game again and export my character. So I wouldn’t have to play the entire previous game multiple times to get differeint endings to import to the next game.
(Ik there is a mod for steam but im a mac user and is more used to the browser)

So I’ve been trying to figure a way to create “saves” for the games.
I’ve been playing on firefox browser and I found a post that explains how to do it on chrome.
After trying to follow the tutorials and failing, I found out that browsers no longer use Web SQL and instead they have something called indexedDB. Anyway, I ended up get Kahuna, the IndexDB manager, and tried to see if I could export the presist data and import it back when I want to.
I don’t know what I did, but now the entire site doesn’t work. I get this error whenever I goto a choiceofgames game, doesn’t matter which one. And even the IndexDB manager stopped working on the choiceofgames website. It is now blank, and cannot fetch any data from it.
I would appritate it so much if anyone can help fix this and maybe let me know a way to create “saves” playing on browser. Thanks!
(Also i have no knowledge whatsoever regarding to anything related to web developing so please explain things to me like im a baby lol)
