My point is that if people won’t help someone get better, they will have to settle for the inadequate representation they had before.
I don’t think that is what they’re really referring too, or in this case they are not opposed to the OP’s question but on how its more fair to include other Asian people and be represent as an Asian people, since the OP is more on the tone of a general whole in a case where people are all very different. They don’t want the physical description or skin color to define someone from Asia, but they would rather @Avery_Moore be open to use Asian culture instead to define them as from Asia.
Even if the world is made up the think is the OP is going to incorporate a real-world people even in a made-up world the OP is inserting something real which can lead to people getting upset if the author’s take on their Asian heritage is not done eloquently.
That’s is a very bland way to look at it, just because there is not a general way to describe someone from a place does not mean it should be all together disregarded. Say the white as an example are they only exclusive to one particular place. Not really, which is what is the driving point. They would rather the culture is the definitive way to hint a person’s origin that looks.
Me too, which is making me wonder ow if what people are sharing could be flying over some peoples minds or maybe even my mind?
And the reason why we have a discussion is to prevent that or at least prevent it from happening.
Okay, rather than let this spill over into an argument where people are throwing around racial slurs again, I have temporarily closed this topic. Next time if you want to talk about good representation vs. bad representation, please make another topic for it.

Just to illustrate some of the aforementioned diversity…
My friend is “Asian” – I’d describe her as petite but packed with kinetic energy, her eyes dark but mischievous, a slightly crooked full smile, her straight black hair offsetting her smooth creamy skin.
My husband is “Asian” – I’d describe him as lean and muscular, his naturally light skin tanned by the sun, with big soft brown eyes, big firm lips, and thick long dark wavy hair.
Another friend is “Asian” – She has a wild look, with chestnut brown skin and gently tumbling black hair, and small pouting lips that can pull back into a broad, open smile.
But if you’re looking for super generic “Asian” descriptors:
Skin tones–
beige
caramel
honey-color
golden-brown
Face shapes–
heart-shape
round
Features–
full lips
high cheekbones
dark hair
dark eyes
small nose
Ask yourself what makes Asians different from the people in other continents, and amongst each other. If an alien who had no knowledge of humans asked you this, how would you explain it to him using words?
Since this reopened to people literally discussing if it’s okay to be racist or not, I’m going to simply close this.
