Highlands, Deep Waters [Released]

@Kirschtein

You have to bring him to your room at the Angus Hotel for questioning, and then there’s a specific dialogue sequence where you can spend the night together. I think it is something related to doing drugs/drinking with him, so it might be related to your Addiction as well.

@DickPowers

If you go to her apartment after talking to her at the church you might spend the night with her. There might be something related to having a drink with her, and it might be a female-only scenario. Also, I’m pretty sure you have to make some quips/dialogue options to make her like you beforehand.

@NewNameSameBro

  1. If you ditch your car around the ending of Chapter 2/Beginning of Chapter 3 and you decide to call for a cab, the driver will be Logan’s father. You’ll only learn that through a very specific dialogue path, I think. He doesn’t know what happened to his son, but it is implied that he might have seen something near the lake(perhaps a ritual) and the Dohmainn got rid of him, if I recall correctly.

  2. You can discover the body of Cassandra if you go to the lake during C3 while waiting for the ritual, I think, but only if she dies. Otherwise, I think you never meet her.

Greetings,
First of all i wanted to congratulate you on this wonderful experience you created, it was really quite something. I have purchased it last week and finished it for the second time today.
Now i am trying to get some more achievements.

Actually i Just created this account some minutes ago so i could ask questions about this game, but i am not sure how to create a spoiler tag. Doesnt really help that im on mobile either.

So, minor spoiler alert:

I have been playing the prologue again, to drink from the correct bottle this time (silly me). Only i cant get to the room. I dont remember how i ended up there on my first playthrough, now i can only leave the house or go to the bathroom. Door on the left wont open. What am i missing? Does it have to do with the door on the back of the house?

Thanks for your time
:slight_smile:

after entering that house… first go to the right door… then open cupboard and drink from the third bottle

Okay, i was being stupid. Got confused because there are two doors on the right apparently or i have been skimming too much. Thanks anyway

Hi. Can someone tell me is it possible to defeat cultist with sledgehammer? Or at least survive?

I know that it’s possible to get out of that house(but still your first character die), or you can drink third bottle and join the cult(which isn’t better i think).

I saw somewhere in this topic post that there is still another ending of prologue- called “???”. Can anyone tell me how to get this one?

And last one question… How to eliminate both David Lennox and The Midnight Child at the same time?

Hm, from what I read so far. The 1st MC never returns?
Is it possible to romance Alexander…dumb question I know. But I just wanna know, lol.

Great game. Just a few questions.

1 while inside black Kirk meeting father grant, is there any other way to continue and live other than joining the cult

2 after the sublimation, when you’re with Brian glyenhall, is there any way to continue and live without killing Alexander.

Please answer
Thanks

1: It’s been a while, but I think you need to dodge his shot by jumping behind something. You definetly can survive without joining the cult though.

2: There’s no coming back after the Sublimation. Its one of the early endings.

Thanks for replying.

I read that if i drink from the right bottle in the lone manse, there will be an interlude about plotting revenge after chapter 1. There are some questions.

1-Does the character dies after drinking?
2-which bottle is right ?(I drank from 5th)
3- Did you put the interlude ?

My character either died after drinking or everything went dark .

If you drink from the right bottle, you will not die, but will instead go through a trippy sequence. You will also get two achievements: One for drinking from the right bottle, another for discovering a fate worse than death. Then, there will be small scenes with the first character during the interlude.

How can you get the first character to survive the prologue?

Drink the middle bottle, if I’m not mistaken

The character will become a cultist though

@MAppolo is right. The first character always either dies or gets captured by the end of the prologue, but he/she can return later, for a brief interlude during Chapter 2, after being brainwashed by the cultists. (Some options here can have lasting impacts even to the end of the game).

For this to happen, you either Drink from the third bottle while on the house at Mayberry Walk.

Or, if you descend further under the house after finding the entrance in the bathroom, you’ll be ambushed. After that, choosing #Give up. or #Stand up and fight. will both make your character survive and become a cultist.

Hi! Great game! I really enjoyed this.

Quick question - how is the achievement “Two for the price of one” gotten? Is it only possible if your first investigator is not present?

You have to kill David Lennox and the Midnight Child at the same time.

Is there a right answer to the input talking to god?

What is the answer? Thanks

There are clues in-game where you can find out the answer to yourself.

I don’t think so, IIRC you can either accept and go back to the game or kill yourself in defiance. It’s a pretty wild easter egg.

I don’t recall what it was exactly, but if you type the wrong answer a few times it should give you tips.
