The extra bits added to early chapters are nice and help to flesh things out, with bullies getting more of the spotlight. There’s only one minor suggestion i’d make – consider hiding the View target portfolios. button on the Stats page until Ch.2, because currently they can be bit of a spoiler if the player browses them while they play Ch.1.

100% agree with this, I’ll make sure to add the portfolios in chapter 2 after that bit where you check in on what all of the characters have done in the last few years.

Weekly Update - May 12, 2025
The prep for homecoming is done. Well, 99% done, there’s still some fine tuning needed to be done, but the gist of it is done. The allies get a lot of screen time this time around, with a lot of opportunities for them to shine.
Now comes the interesting parts. We’ll see the results of the revenge plans and see how the big day goes. We’ll win (or lose) a baseball game, maybe perform on the stage between innings, and, who knows, become homecoming royalty?
Chapter 4’s end is in sight people, let’s get there and continue on discovering these peoples’ secrets and destroy them forever!

Monthly Update
Yep, it’s monthly now. I’ll start with that first. I think some of the weekly updates are a bit underwhelming, especially if you don’t have access to the most recent demo and can actually try the things out that I’m talking about. So I’m going to start doing monthly updates publicly and keep the weekly ones only on Patreon.
Second thing, I thought I was going to be able to finish the chapter this month, which is why I’ve been quiet for so long, but I’ve failed. Still, I got incredibly far, so here’s a little list with everything I wrote:
I’m writing the part where Connor hears his part in the Tragedy in his monitor now and wrote most of the cheerleading part for Vivian before she gets hit and falls from the pyramid.
What’s left is finishing the actual Homecoming game and then the Homecoming dance, which will be a slog-fest with the 5 potential dates, but it’s all necessary to the plot people! Otherwise we only got the Dylan and Olivia plans to happen, the Isaac/Vivian combination one, and the big one left. I don’t think there’ll be any after party to homecoming, considering the sheer size of those whole bit, so I’ll make sure to make the dance spicy!
Is the New Demo supposed to end after you join your initial activity? It used to be longer and you could interact with all the targets and go to the Party at Michael’s.

Monthly Update - Jul 25
Hello, people! Another month, another update!
So, same as last month, I guess I’ll do a little list with some of the big stuff I’ve worked on and finished in the last 28 days:
The Olivia part isn’t finished yet, I wanna write a bit about the ride to the dance as well and maybe bond with her a bit. I’ll have to do this for all of the other 5 date options, cause, yeah, there are 7 options, not 5, like I said last time. (Dylan, Olivia, Cecily, Isaac, Haley, Angela, Marcus)
We’ll follow with some banter at the dance, some dancing, the crowning, and then the chapter is done. Yey! No after party, cause I feel like making it clear that the “creep” will ruin all the desire to party for the rest of the night. If you’re a non-revenge enthusiast and won’t do anything, I might write something that just ends the night cutely with your date, if you kept things civil, and that’s that.

Hello, hello!
This past month, I’ve spent a lot of time revisiting and refining the first three chapters. Looking back, I felt the original versions were a bit childish and clumsy at times and didn’t quite capture the emotional weight I wanted. If you didn’t already know where the story was headed, I can see how some readers might have given up after the first chapter, thinking it was just a children’s story written by someone with barely any writing experience.
Much like the protagonist, seven years have passed since I first wrote those chapters. In all that time, I’d only added a few small tweaks here and there. I never actually sat down to truly review them from start to finish. Now I finally have, and I’m excited to share the updated versions of Chapters 1–3! Consider this both an overhaul and a celebration… because I’m just a breath away from finishing Chapter 4.
What’s new?
The core events remain mostly the same, it’s the writing that has changed.
The jokes are still there, but I’ve toned down the fourth-wall breaking and quirky delivery.
The narrator now takes on a more serious, bitter tone in reacting to the events of Chapter 1.
The dads are gone, they’re now just exes the mom used and discarded.
Mom is now more powerful and her intentions are clearer.
Burt is no longer forced upon the player. He’s part of the weekly choice for gaining a new ally.
And (hopefully!) most grammatical errors should be gone.
