Monthly Update
Yep, it’s monthly now. I’ll start with that first. I think some of the weekly updates are a bit underwhelming, especially if you don’t have access to the most recent demo and can actually try the things out that I’m talking about. So I’m going to start doing monthly updates publicly and keep the weekly ones only on Patreon.
Second thing, I thought I was going to be able to finish the chapter this month, which is why I’ve been quiet for so long, but I’ve failed. Still, I got incredibly far, so here’s a little list with everything I wrote:
- Homecoming day is here! The day can start off with a big part of the targets finding Michael/Cecily’s dead dog’s head as a part of the art exhibit!
- You can then show of your art piece to the crowd, have a little convo with Haley, and then ruin her painting with a bit of punch (well, one of the freshmen you paid to do it…).
- Meet up with Dylan, talk about the dog head or the ruined painting, and start finding more about what he’s hiding…
- Get a nice, motivating speech from Mr. Gibbs before the big game! Or banter with the Fighting Rooster while waiting for the team to come out.
- Watch Cecily abdicate her Homecoming crown during the pre-game parade (and maybe get the crowd to shout “ew” at her or traumatize her as she gets back to the locker room to change and find a dog head)
- Play in the first half of the Homecoming game and destabilize the team’s morale.
- Cause a huge fight between Michael and Isaac as Michael finds his dog’s head in the locker room during half-time (and watch as Isaac tries to figure out what’s up with the dead lamb in his locker)!
- Take charge during the half-time show and sing for the crowd as Ramon forgets the lyrics?
I’m writing the part where Connor hears his part in the Tragedy in his monitor now and wrote most of the cheerleading part for Vivian before she gets hit and falls from the pyramid.
What’s left is finishing the actual Homecoming game and then the Homecoming dance, which will be a slog-fest with the 5 potential dates, but it’s all necessary to the plot people! Otherwise we only got the Dylan and Olivia plans to happen, the Isaac/Vivian combination one, and the big one left. I don’t think there’ll be any after party to homecoming, considering the sheer size of those whole bit, so I’ll make sure to make the dance spicy!
