You call him a vampire? Where’s his sparkles?

I jest.

Hmm can I make a suggestion for the cover-art. Well I will be making a suggestion anyway. Is that supposed to be the protagonist on the cover?

I was a little confused on that too.

@FairyGodfeather
Yeah I’m straying away from Twilight-esque vampires:P
Yeah, the demon hunter. And before you ask, no I didn’t make it a female because I can’t have two cover arts.

I was going to suggest making them more androgynous. :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe a bit of tweaking on the face. No?

My favourite covers are admittedly the one where both male and female characters are shown. Like Heroes Rise.

Actually Looshi did something fantastic on her thread hmm the link to her picture is http://smg.photobucket.com/user/OWA/media/SamConceptart_zpsb1a49140.png.html where she shows both the male and female versions of an NPC.

I think putting a second character on there though probably wouldn’t work. Can you get an alternative picture done with a female demon hunter to go inside? Exact same outfit, different face? It is a striking cover though.

@FairyGodfeather
Yeah I can see about doing that…where would you suggest the female version go?

Might as well put it right at the start. Or perhaps once you select female as your gender. Or on the gender selection screen.

@FairyGodfeather
I’ll make another version and put it on the first page but one of them has to be the cover art, and since I’m a male, it’ll probably be the initial illustration.

I say get both pictures, then put it to a vote. A bit like Bioware did with choosing which female Shepard should be used.

Alright. I’ll talk to my illustrator

Just as long as you don’t take a page out of all of those adverts for games with the busty women in the adverts, the come hither glances, the barely there clothing, and the suggestive text. Like Evony used and Wartune is now using.

I really miss my ad-blocker.

@FairyGodfeather
of course not xD I’ll probably just have my illustrator change the face, add some breasts and add some hair.

Meet Belluo the cave troll!

Can’t she be a bald, flat-chested demon-hunter? I bet that hair would get singed off by the demon behind her anyway. :stuck_out_tongue: Make sure to colour her robe pink too.

I jest.

@FairyGodfeather
*Demon huntress
And what do you think of Belluo?

He’s fearsome.

@Samuel_H_Young this one’s probably my favourite so far; your illustrator is really talented (and here I am barely able to draw stick-men, lol)!

@Redgrave
Yeah it’s my favorite, too! I wish I could make these, but I’m in the same boat as you are.

@Samuel_H_Young Okay, if you don’t think there’s anything wrong, I will pursue it no further since I am even now not quite sure if I think there’s a problem or not! LOL! Shadows give me problems occasionally.

As for the troll, it’s not generally how I think of trolls, but it DEFINITELY works!

@FairyGodfeather LOL! I see those advertisements, and they always make me laugh because someone, somewhere, is just enough of a pervert to be enticed to play those games because of the slutty wench in the ad that probably has nothing to do with the game. I especially find the Wartune ad that I always see funny because it has that whore on the ad that says “Male Gamers Only!”

@Redgrave I thought you got that about Azog from a Wiki. I knew he was meant to be dead before the events of The Hobbit. It is his son Bolg who fights in the Battle of Five Armies. And I will never believe a recounting of book events from a movie source over the book itself.

Like I said earlier, I believe the whole Azog thing is in the movies because there had to be some sort of definite antagonist. It is fine to have a book that does not have one, but for a movie, you will lose interest without a tangible conflict.

@Galador
haha alright:P and I’m glad you like it. Hey, my demo is out so if you’d take a look, I’d greatly appreciate it.

@Samuel_H_Young I don’t have time right this minute, but of COURSE I will as soon as I have time! I will probably be able to this weekend, and I’ll be looking forward to it!

@Galador
great:) I can’t wait to hear back from you
