I as well would like to test if there are any spots left
As would I!
same as me
Anyone know the highest paying job?
I think its journalist or lawyer
Just sent emails to those that recently were interested in beta testing the game. I am probably going to miss my self-imposed deadline of submitting the 23rd of May, as I have been swamped with work. Anyway, my new deadline is the end of May, to give some time for the new reviewers to get their teeth into this.
Also, I want to thank all those who have submitted reports so far! They are very useful, and hopefully in the next couple of days I can start to patch the game up according to those comments.
Not sure whatâs the best way to mention it, but just noticed a typo here:
You often spend your dead hours in the office reading about engineering, though around 12:30 you are interrupted by John. âGâday. Wasting ya time again, mate? Emily really gave you a hard time back there, right? I would rather be wiped out several times in a row than having to put up with that! Talking about that itâs such a shame weâre suck in the office today, amazing swell coming all the way to Jersey today. You really need to come with me next time! Anyway, we were supposed to go for lunch today. Ready?â
suck instead of stuck
Is it really realistic that a journalist would be paid more than an engineer today? Even a lawyer, unless you are at a fancy law firm, would probably have a lower salary than most engineers.
I really love it and wood really like to read the rest of it
Thanks, will be corrected in the next update!
Otherwise, I thought engineers were still not making much money (as a civil engineer myself, I remember that when I left uni I was making less than anybody else, including friends who were teaching in high school⌠mind you, that was the UK in the early 2000s⌠though I thought things hadnât changed that much?)
Iâm not sure if it is different in the UK vs the US. But in the US, currently âtechâ related fields are the hottest, highest paying jobs around. I think things have changed drastically in the last 5-8 years.
Mmmmm yes, but most of the engineering professions I am describing are traditional engineering, which are not so well paid? I thought that in the US lawyers still made a lot more money than them?
Oh yeah I actually have no idea how much US lawyers at non top tier places get paid. The ones at top firms definitely get more than most engineers. I know there is a giant surplus of law students compared with open positions, so I am assuming their pay is not great. And the lawyers that go into the government as prosecutors probably donât get paid well. My initial comment was more in surprise to the comment that journalists have one of the highest salaries. I would think they have the lowest.
Lawyers are rich more often than not. It can be an easy job after school, just shuffling paperwork around and still get paid 6+ figures. Not all are like that but many. Seriously, win a million dollar settlement, lawyer will take 800,000 in charges and fees.
Personally i did not like the aliens.
You mean the drawing, or that the sequel is headed in that direction?
Just got done watching BrightBurn and it made me realize how lex Luther has a point about superheroes I would recommend watching it if you ever feel like you need some more ideas for the villain path or for some examples of how some powers in this game could be used to hurt our enemyâs
Itâs not out yet on my side of the world (at the moment Iâm in Vietnam for some project, it opens on the 31st of May). But, I just saw the trailer and it could provide some inspiration, so I will go and see it!
Itâs a good movie and itâs definitely doesnât hold back on the gore and itâs a refreshing take on the superhero genre, oh yeah make sure you stay for te post credit scenes their interesting
How the sequel is looking towards aliens. But that is a personal thought i dont like shoving aliens into things that donât seem to have a place.
But that is personal and i can always be won over by the story that is written
