Thanks! I have a full day of work today, but will try to look at this tonight or tomorrow (tomorrow I have a full day to iron out all the bugs reported!)
So, I am hoping to hand in Birth of a Superhero… or Villain next week (on the 23rd of May, hopefully). For this, I am looking for a few people who are willing to beta test the game (it is “finished”, but I fear there might be some bugs, particularly continuity bugs, etc, in the final section of the game).
If anybody would like to test the game during this weekend I am happy to give them access to it. What I am looking for is:
-People who can spot continuity errors (“Hey, I said good-bye to this character but he/she is still here”, “I was supposed to be at the hospital, but the game says I am at the cemetery”, “I cannot understand how I went from scene X to scene Y”).
-Screenshots are greatly appreciated.
-Any other bugs you want to report are obviously also appreciated.
-I am not looking for grammar reports. The game is not perfect yet in that sense, but I will go through and continue polishing myself (you can report on grammar if you want, it’s just not what I am focused on at the moment).
-I am particularly interested in the testing of the various branches of the game after the masquerade. At this point the game greatly branches out, and I am afraid there could be problems lurking there (I am testing myself, but given the range of powers and options in the game it is difficult to check every combination).
Those interested please PM me. Note that I will be working on the game all day on Thursday to iron out the last round of reports from my beta tester. Then, I am hoping to send the link out on Thursday night (Japan time).

This game is really long with lots of options and paths (I’m doing the beta and still finding new stuff on playthroughs). If you haven’t read it yet and liked adrao’s other games I recommend signing up before it’s too late and you have to wait for it to be released

Could you please add another option in robbing a store without needing a strength stats, I always prefer INT so it would be very helpful

Does the release already announce or is it still wip?
There’s still no announcement as you read in the few post above you. The author mentioned that it is currently on beta testing.

So, just uploaded a new version for those on private threads. This is the “final” version of the game, though I will be adding some more options in the coming days. This is additional stuff, and the game should basically be “finished” now. So, it’s time for final testing…
To do list
-Place all powers chosen in the power choosing page, add possibility to clear and choose again. Add a number of pre-determined super-heroes (wolverine-type, etc)
-billards bar and extra side stories for villains. Possible human genome storyline? (post #431)]
-side story to go for a drink with henchmen in supervillain path
-opportunity to donate money in supervillain path
-Normal hero path Mr. Watson endings.
-Finish coding achievements
-Expand range of options at end of supervillain route
