You know, I thought he was an arrogant ass before, but after seeing what he’s gonna say now in the next update just makes me want to kick his ass all the way to the moon and back.
Great! Happy to see my suggestion used
I look forward to seeing what the update has to offer and seeing more moments of our insane power being acknowledged. The Moon Crusader is definitely a moment I was hoping for and it would be cool to see more moments like that, such as when helping Tidal Boar with those thugs and seeing them panic or just straight up surrender if we’re powerful enough.
Does anyone know if there’s any advantage in me getting the force field now in the first game or if it’s better to simply make my suit bulletproof?
Woops sorry my last response is off I thought this was the dawn of heroes wip hahaha i only got 3 hours of sleep so im a little slow right now, anyway to answer your question forcefield can remove up to -30 damage for a “strong forcefield” while costume can only be -20 “defense against normal bullets” unless you go the powered armor path and then armor can have -40 “defense against heavy artillery”, the available level of suit defense depends on intelligence since you have to be smart to figure out how to make that.
Or you can get heavy armor from the weapon store but it’ll cost you, if you want to go that route instead then 1 don’t choose Marksman training as a character creation event 2 bribe the front desk the 200 dollars to ignore your lack of license 3 come back next time and ask for something more “heavy duty” that will give you access to black market weapons and armor.
Also forgot to mention that the armor can be improved in your off time how many times I don’t know, but it’s a roll of the dice you have 3 options of increasing difficulty but higher reward and your success depends on intelligence and engineering level if both of them are sky high then you have pretty good odds of success, but remember that failure is always an option and if you do fail it actually weakens the armor instead.
301+ IQ and still decides to use an untested experimental forging technique on their only set of armor instead of something else… honestly that kinda does sound like something iron Man actually Would do ha
The way I play most of my characters, in the first game I don’t need health or armor. So I wait for game 2 to get some alien battle armor.
I know I havent replied to some of the posts above, and will do that in due course (last few weeks I was busy with work on HoV: Armageddon and the re-writing of The Nebula, which will incorporate all the game mechanics of the HoV series! )
Anyway, on a different note I received the first prototypes of my 2nd card game! If you want to be notified when the Kickstarter campaign starts, click on the link below!

If you want to see what the game looks like, check the video of the first prototypes (which I am sending out to Youtube channels this week )
I’m signed up!
I remember that game (The Nebula) on a separate thread. You suggested that game to me along with RIPM (Raiders of Icepeak Mountains) and I gave my feedback on both of them but I don’t think you replied to them. I don’t remember what thread those topics were in but I think it was a thread I made to look for IF games that has non-human playable races.
Yes, the Nebula exists in a “semi-zombie” WIP state. Every now and then I work a bit on it… but this time I am really going to try to finish it. I just posted an update and asked a moderator to re-open that thread…
Would you like me to go ahead and reopen the thread so you don’t have to wait for the mod to do it?
If possible, it would be nice! Thanks!
Done
Thanks!
CoG kindly updated the game to its newest version, which incorporates any reported issues and bugfixes in the last 4-5 months. If there is something you reported that is still there let me know and I will have a look at it again!
Otherwise I may go again quiet on this title for a bit, while I concentrate on the final stretch of getting Life as a Lich published, and with any spare time going towards HoV: Armageddon!
Am I the only one seeing â at the end of a lot of dialogue and choices.
Also in moon crusader dialogue about strength it says the civilian name not the hero name when talking about the mc.
I was wondering if it’s possible to get electric based power? (Like lightning and stuff?) There are some offensive power choice like “thunderstorm” and stuff but I never encountered a choice like electric manipulation
what Happened with Hero or Villain: Armageddon.
Adrao has a lot of projects going on, not just HoV.
