Hey there! Time for an important update! (not a story update, unfortunately, i’m sorry)

I’d hoped to get the 2nd part of the prologue up mid-late October. However, I’m now moving out of state in the beginning of November, so all of October will be dedicated to packing and all that fun and cool moving stuff. (It’s not fun and cool. Moving sucks.)

I’ll try to have maybe a smaller update instead of the entirety of part 2, just to hold you guys over, because it’s a big life change and I don’t know yet how my schedule is going to change and I don’t want to keep you all waiting for months for this.

I’m still working on those character snippets as well! So there will be some content, just mostly not playable content yet. Sorry for a kind of disappointing update, but I want you to know I haven’t abandoned the game! Life is just…happening. A lot, right now. And it’s not something I foresaw when I started the project.

You could ask a moderator to change your first post to a wiki format. It will allow you to edit it as much as you like. (The con is that other people will also be able to do the same, but most folks around here aren’t savvy or rude enough to hijack other people’s threads. :P)

Since the two female ROs are twin sisters what would happen if we romanced both of them? Would pursuing one lock us out of pursuing the other? I gave Runa a kiss on the cheek but Nanta’s bio on her character sheet appeals more to me so I’ll probably end up with her instead. How old will we be when we meet her? Because I was thinking if I flirt a bit with Runa now it wouldn’t be a big deal since it’s basically a high school crush, but if we meet Nanta sooner rather than later it might be awkward lol. It says her specialization is vampire, what is that? It sounds interesting.

A small thing I noticed in the divination class:

You study your sheet briefly, scanning through the list of simple meanings. “Just ‘challenges overcome’. That’s pretty inspiring. I’ll be successful,” you say, puffing your chest confidently.

“Oh, you should challenge Akari to a duel. That’s a challenge! And the tea says you’ll win!” Rahul suggests with a conspiratorial grin.

“Hey, don’t get cocky,” Runa warns. “You do that and the challenge you’re overcoming is the pain of defeat.”

Thing is… I did challenge Akari to a duel in combat class earlier and I beat him. Runa was there, even ! It would be cool if the dialogue here reflected that we fought him earlier and whether or not we won.

You definitely won’t be able to romance both of them in the same playthrough. I’m going to be changing the prologue ending bit with flirting so there’s not going to be a kiss there anymore (just for flow reasons, not that I’m taking away the ability to flirt with your friends). But, that said, you’re not locking anything in during the prologue because, as you said, it’s mostly exploring a high school crush.

Nanta won’t show up until later in Chapter 1 (so one more half of the prologue, and then Chapter 1), and MC will be 25 when that happens. There may be a little talk if you’ve flirted with Runa before.

And Nanta is a vampire, which you’ll find out a bit more about in her snippet when I write that, and more about how vampirism works in this world during the story.

Good catch with that divination thing! I’ll try to add a little more customization to that bit so it can reflect you beating Akari in a duel or something like that.
