Umm… you need to define happy ending specifically . Like did you meant living happily ever after with someone?

If i remember correctly, whether you keep the house or not, you get a heart warming epilogue.

For my case, i don’t get the “happy” ending i want because Oriana return to another world, i felt empty.
But in another ending, i made her stay and continue to help up . I still don’t get to be with her, although she is free now but i am not sure whether she is happy . I still feel sad for not able to romance her.

I let the house stay in order to help repel demons from outworld , is it evil? I am not sure…

I am not sure about marriage, because i was pursuing Oriana, but in the end there could be peace in the world , and everyone was sort of happy.

We could defeat the outworld demons without needing the help of the house , but we will either need to close the portal by ourselves or free Oriana from her binding so that she returns to the outworld to close it for us . If you are romancing another person, then freeing Oriana to help you close the portal is the best option

I’ve only created an account to say how amazing this game has been. I’ve played many choices games and going through almost all of them one by one. And I just by far feel like this is the most that stuck with me. The story is so good despite feeling uncomfortable at times since I hate horror etc lol. Also Reaves, I loved him so much! He’s such a tease and a sweetheart! As for Dev it’s so sad I loved him too but I just can’t have both at the same time and I understand that. I feel like this choice game is underrated? I hope for a continuation maybe :frowning:
Also just a side note, those steamy scenes… bravo to the author :3

How do you get the “Bumpy Road” achievement?

I recall getting it on iPhone in 2017. I am pretty sure it was early in the game. I’m replaying the game on Steam now, but I can’t figure it out.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it.

You have to put arcane light between the beast and your travelling companions in Chapter 1 so that Miss Fairchild survives.

So this is from super long ago but if anyone else is having this issue, it’s because the stats reflected on your stats page is not the ‘true’ stats (at least when used for stat checks). The ‘correct’ stat number is “displayed stat” divided in half, so your Charm stat is actually 25, which is why you’re failing the stat check in your example.

Hello. I’m playing Heart of the House for the first time and I’m targeting to romanced Dev.

However I would like to know if I should trust Oriana to have a good ending, please?

And I’d also like to know if having demonology skills has bad consequences.
