Very minor update that leads into the next chapter. New forms. And we finally come to the player having a sexual orientation! .Now, some are going to ask why that wasn’t in the first chapter…because. It just wouldn’t make sense for it to fit is all. Why would an all powerful eldritch being see things the same humans do? After finally spending time as a mortal, the MC develops an opinion on it. All around an update that’s just preparation for the next chapter, but it does include two new races.
They already foreshadowed Driders and a race of aristocratic butterfly people. Really. All of this is just build up into the next chapter so no real need to take a look if you are up to date.

I also decided on making a small segment here so people better understand where exactly my head is at and what I feel are the biggest problems currently:
It seems to run on a little too long between choices in some areas. Entertaining for a first read, maybe. Will get annoying on multiple playthroughs, especially where it feels more or less the same from other routes. Doing my best to make them feel unique, though it’s not always doable.
Does progression happen too fast between scenes?
Beastkin shells need more defined options at the start, even if other kinds come later. It’s partly a coding issue that I’m still having issues with.
Depending on the route, some of those ending scenes felt brutal when I was writing them. They’ll definitely feel tough to some players which is half the point.
Without relationship meters for some of the characters, what’s even the point in trying their routes?
