If i buy a puppy i would call him Poison but i don’t like dogs I am a cat person.

well if you Buy Poison make Sure it doesnt kill anybody.

Nah, puppies are just too much naive and overall close to the owner. than make me feeling tired. I don’t like have a creature 100% focused in me. Cats are more independent and does whatever they like dogs are like sheeps you have to walk with to they could make poo. I admire dogs well trained that helps handicapped people but normal dogs? nope

Here’s a thought, though: does a hardened Arthur ignore Guen more and lessen her influence on the kingdom?! :open_mouth:

We must be careful what we wish for! Mama likes running Camelot.

If Arthur did that my Guen would more or less go ā€œā€¦Yeah. No. hits Arthur upside the head and then argues with him publicly to threaten his authority while proving the fact that she’s smarter/subjectively better than he is stillā€ She doesn’t quite like if Arthur A: Ignored her, or B: Lessens her influence after all the stuff she’s done (and that she’s generally smarter than he is. Also she behaves better)

She can do a lot when she’s mad at him.

Also, I mean… She’ll be pulling Camelot out of the fire in this book, I doubt they’ll forget that Arthur ran off while Guen pulled them all out of the fire XD And if they did, she’ll remind them.

Nope because hardened comes from love an respect for Guen, and started because Guen teach him other way to think and beliefs. However, I could imagine a betrayed pissed old hippie than discovered his Guen is banging everyone, being rather bad with lil Guen. Anyway, my poison queen would be all sweet until almost the ending, that all be great .

Haha. My own Guen is sweet until she’s mad. Then you will need like 1000 blessings to prevent her from killing you. She has a major temper when you make her actually mad.

Things that make her mad: Messing with/hurting her dog (Or cat), Messing with/Hurting Arthur (Unless you’re her), Hurting or messing with any of her friends, or attacking the nation. Do any of those and she will freaking murder you. With a vengeance.

I mean, every carefree lovable sweet person can realllllyyyy quickly change into a dangerous, angry, pissed off murderous person if you press the right buttons. (Aaaahhhhh. I love my fictional daughter so much despite this XD. She only gets this mad like 3 times… And each time she murders them. No one survives making her that mad.)

…I wonder if i’d be able to depict that side of my character. …That would be a major shock to everyone I bet. The only person so far who really has this much hate from my guen would be Crornelia Saxonica XD The root of freaking everything.

Crornelia that’s a good nick lol. I just wondering if I would be able to kill her while using that fact to harden hippie. And unrelated stuff, your Guen remember me a Mara character I created for Fallout 3, poor Amata learned the lesson about trying to exile me after save her ass then I blow up reactor in exchange. oh, how much I would enjoy F4 poor Railroad lol, Long live to the Institute and Slavers. Evil karma rules.

Haha. My character is VERY hard to make actually mad. But im friggen looking forward to Fallout 4. I never found a situation that made my character really mad (…Except for the Colonel, who I murdered with a vengeance) in fallout 3. Maybe I will in 4 (Also in other game news I hope it’d be viable to murder ALL the aliens in Xcom 2. …They freaking deserve it and my soldiers will DEFINITELY want to kill all the ones they can. You may of beaten Xcom once, but you won’t beat the new Terrorist Xcom!)

When their not mad, they are generally a goody-two-shoes. Until she starts talking tactics and will sacrifice people for a win on a larger scale. Minor suffering now in exchange for a major victory later is a good pay off! (Even according to my precious 10 year old fictional daughter, even If she doesn’t particularly LIKE giving such an order she still sees the necessity of such an order and will give it if needed)

If you could kill her while hardening Arthur… that would be rather fun. ā€œLook Arthur. This is what you do to people who 1: Try to assassinate your wife. 2: Try to manipulate the downfall of the nation. 3: Don’t keep their side of a deal. and 4: Piss me off! You just kill them! They deserve it!ā€

Ok, once again I’m going to mostly stay out of the lovely Arthur discussion, and try to answer any/all direct questions I can find… also, my moving day is Tuesday, so I won’t be around much, but I look forward to getting more caught up later in the week.

Sort of. The power she gains isn’t anything flashy; it’s subtle. She’ll be able to use it to shape the kingdom according to her will, slowly over time. So yes, she can probably find some ways to make it work to her advantage and Arthur’s detriment.

@Lyanna Thanks; glad you’re enjoying the game! I hope you found the ā€œI love youā€ part.

Definitely what I was hoping for. Arthur is indeed waiting for just the right moment, and if he didn’t blurt it out already, the right moment may present itself at the end of part 2. The one thing I’m sort of frustrated about is that Guen doesn’t get a chance to say it first; she has to be reactive. I’m not sure how to build that in, but I hate making her wait on the other characters. It’s tons easier to write reaction than… proaction? (apparently ā€œproactionā€ is a real word and I never knew.)

I’d say those are the basics, but they’re really broad. Sometime when I get the chance, I’ll try to put them in more specific terms.

No, they don’t. As @Nasdaxow says, I’m just being silly. :stuck_out_tongue:

Probably not everything (again, Guen has people to do that for her), but almost certainly a trophy to add to her collection.

This seems like a more and more realistic possibility every day. I have lost four pounds since we got the puppy, no joke.

Even before he met Guen, Lancelot was never that deceptive. He’d flirt and pay compliments and gladly accept the same from others, but he wouldn’t tell someone he loved them if he didn’t mean it, and he wouldn’t use lies to seduce anyone. Prior to Guen (if he’s romantically involved with her), he’s only told one other person he loved them, and he meant it 100%.

Arthur can stay ā€œsoft,ā€ though events will still make him a bit less naive (but not less optimistic, I expect). Softer, no, because there’s only so much I can keep track of, but I hope to make the ā€œhardessā€ spectrum varied and interesting.

Not with Cornelia. Early on, I planned for Guen to be able to make an alliance with Cornelia’s daughter Julia, but Julia’s storyline got conflated with Elaine’s, and now I’m not sure how to use Julia without it feeing really tacked-on – maybe I’ll find a way, though. But Cornelia won’t ally with Guen no matter what. She’s too spiteful.

My original plan was to have the MC be an original character who had locksmithing expertise, and would therefore be of great value to Robin and her/his already-established band. I’ve completely trashed that idea in favor of having the MC be Robin, and letting the game focus on building the band. I think that will be more satisfying for the player, and make the game distinctively different from Guenevere.

This is turning out to be all too true. My puppy loves to eat grass.

That might indeed be an issue; we’ll have to wait and see.

And now back to my exhausting life! :house: :dog: :running:

@jeantown I hope you’ll keep a plotline involving Julia. I would love to see it, and it could give the choice to kill or spare Hrothulf a much deeper impact in the long run. I don’t know what exactly you’re planning for the Elaine storyline, but I think an alliance with Julia and the Saxons could be among the alliance options for the final conflict, along with Frankmarch and other nations. Depending on how Guen interacted with them in the past and how she negotiates they could support her, side with the enemy or stay neutral.

Thanks for explaining the Robin Hood game there, I figured that Robin was likely to be the focus character. As for George maybe you can teach him to know gaming code and help you write Guen? Even if the game starts seemingly becoming Puppy Bias.

Puppy Bias might not be so bad. I like puppies. I own two dogs, and two cats, though I greatly prefer the dogs. They aren’t assholes like the cats.

PUPPY BIAS FOR ALL!

I notice the gender neutral language there. I’m going to take that to mean that he was/is desperately in love with Arthur.

If thats the case… It seems like It would be much easier to (at least in regards to Lance) get an Arthur/Lance Harem for Guen XD

@jeantown

I just had an interesting thought. Can the MC get STDs?

Can light Magic heal STDs?

D…didn’t the Gun’s page have a similar question?.. Also from you?..

…What’s with asking about STDs in fictional environments?..

…I fully vote for them not existing…

@Fallaner

I asked because it could happen and I wanna be prepared for… unexpected stuff.

ā€œGun’s pageā€? If you don’t mind, what’s that?

Guns of infinity
I am also curious.
Can we get STD’s and if so can merlin heal that.
