I know it says you can only romance 3 people but it would be good if there was another girl romance
While I assume it’s unlikely to happen, if there had to be a fourth romance I would be ecstatic if it was a person of the Fae variety.
@skulls: Arthur isn’t incompetent, just insanely optimistic/boyish; in fact, if I recall it’s stated that he’s actually a very good king. Wouldn’t your child turning out to be a womanizer be fine if they turned out as caring, honorable and talented with the blade as Lance is? Also, it’s possible that your child could be a maneater even if influenced by uncle/daddy lance.
@NJG: you are oddly determined to achieve the presence of this sling. Why? If anybody was going to use slings it’d probably be the Saxons or some unforeseen enemy.
@Jeantown: peanut butter! Your house situation sounds like the blows. Hope it turns for the better soon.
I can’t remember my previous question still or what else I was going to ask - to the nine hells with forgetful mind, so I’m make u[p a new question on the spot!
righto. let’s see.
So thirty and forties in the four skills is basically mediocre at best or is that just the case with combat? If it’s the case with all the skills, me Guens have a long way ta go.
Off topic, have you seen the new Mad Max?
I wonder if there’s any chance that Arthur will get better at cough cough “sex” . And will mordred be conceived first or will guen set the actions that lead to her getting pregnant first? Because I can’t imagine trying for a baby with Arthur after he’s gotten his half sister pregnant.
Definitely not! You can’t even trust what Lancelot says half the time, he has no type of honor, the only thing he has going for himself is his sword skills.
, sure he is.
He’s a complete hypocrite that contradicts himself all the time.
At the risk of sounding as dense as the Man of La Mancha and twice as obnoxious:
What is he hypocritical about? What does he contradict himself about?
Totally agree and don’t forget the Iam super loyal but I try badly bang not only my best frien wife, my queen and betray all vows I did when I was ordered knight
We’ve seen Lancelot kiss Guenevere, we’ve certainly seen him express that he’s in love with Guenevere, but one would think he was tearing her dress off or something.
I’m not exactly a fan of Lancelot, but “complete hypocrite in every scene” feels so overblown as to want to narrow down exactly what he’s actually done.
He’s suppose to be a knight and live/breathe by that code but he does the opposite. Always talking about “honor” and “duty” but he practically tarnished his the moment he made a move on Guen (a married women), he tries to make people believe he will uphold everyone’s reputation but Arthur( his best friend) even admitted what a womanizer he can be with the girls of the kingdom, as a knight it is his responsibility to be honesty about everything but if he enters a secret relationship and sleeps with Guen he won’t tell Arthur, and after doing all that he still expects people to believe that he is this great, honorable knight, who can do no wrong?
Ok, so what has he actually done?
You tell me, you’re the one accusing him of being a complete hypocrite “that contradicts himself all the time”.
So I think it’d be pretty easy to list how he does so in the mini-adventure (which results in fireworks), for example.
I just call out the truth. Like I said the only thing he has going for himself is his sword skills, that I will admit. 🙍
If it’s the truth, when exactly can I expect you to explain how he does anything hypocritical and dishonorable in regards to the night miniadventure?
I’m not trying to say Lancelot is above suspicion, but if you’re going to make extreme arguments, refusing to give more than vague statements about his behavior isn’t a very good way to establish that he has unforgivable flaws as opposed to you taking a dislike to him (which I have, so I’m not saying that’s a bad thing - but it isn’t the same thing).
He is not just above suspicions he’s a suspect, and what you call vague statements I call true facts. But I obviously texted enough, and since you even stated that he isn’t what tries to be why don’t you tell me what you think I’m not acute about.
So what you’re saying is that you refuse to actually show how in any given scene he’s behaving inappropriately, but it’s sufficient to say “he made a move on Guen” as if that happened in every playthrough in every scene he’s in.
This is a fact: Lancelot doesn’t kiss Guenevere when he first meets her.
By behaving inappropriately you mean:
- Kissing Guen without her consent after she was kidnapped.
- Stating that every trophy, every battle he won was for his queen (even if she said she wanted to be faithful).
- And having his trust for Guen go up one point in Merlin’s tower after she says she didn’t want to be married to Arthur.
If that’s what you mean then yes.
And I never said Lancelot kissed Guen when he first meets her.
And that includes the mini-adventure
No, you simply said, and I quote:
“He’s a complete hypocrite that contradicts himself all the time.”
If you want to say that Lancelot has done things that are inconsistent - in flat out violation in plainer English - with the standards of honor and duty he’s expected to uphold, point 1 would count.
point 2 does not - dedicating trophies to Guenevere doesn’t violate any vows he made unless there’s some vow only to do so to one’s lord that I missed in the codes of chivalry I’ve read (and arguably, Guenevere as his queen might fall under “my lord” as well as Arthur)
Point 3: Not sure how this indicates anything outside his oaths. It might lead to that - but what exactly is he violating?
But “all the time” means every time he does something towards Guen it’s in violation. I don’t see that here. And I’d happily denounce him if I did.
Point 2: So sending the person who shut you down trophies /people to talk about your recent activities and stating “each” time it’s for his queen, the person who don’t want you (depending on how you play your character) isn’t a point taken.
Point 3: Lance is supposed to be honorable right? To the kingdom and most of all his lords right? Well if that is true then why is it when your queen says she doesn’t want to be married to your best friend you wanna trust her more?
Point 2: It is a lot of things, and I’d happily list them as things that Lancelot shouldn’t be doing, but I’m pretty sure it’s not in violation of his oaths - just annoying.
Point 3: Sympathy? Being sworn to obey Arthur doesn’t mean “Arthur is always right”.
