Wow, what a great game!
It’s such a treat to have games where the MC is their own person, with the player basically helping go one direction or another! And I love the MC so much!
I think the only downside to me is the fact it’s written in second person. I hate it as a general rule but I got used to it for the most part since it’s the most common thing in IF type games, but when the MC is an actual character, I still have a hard time when it’s not first person. But oh well, I’ll make do - it’s a question of tastes and nothing more.

With that being said, I believe the amnesia tag is missing from the content warning list? It caught me off-guard!

One error:

When talking with Bautista after the training with Devin and all that stuff, the status page says:
STATUS:
Actively deployed
Actively deployed
Lacerated but healing back; minor scrapes and bruises
Subject is currently Exhausted and Spooked. Recommend no further action.

The “Actively deployed” shouldn’t appear twice, right? I don’t know when it became like that though, since I don’t check the stat screen all the time.

Why would amnesia need a warning? I can understand the necessity of a forewarning on other stuff, like adult content, violence, explicit language, etc, but that one is baffling me.

Well, I’m talking from personal experience, as this is the ONLY thing that warrants a warning for me.
The very idea of someone forgetting about their past experiences, relationships, maybe even who they were before, is actually extremely stressful, and if it’s something that happens to a character I care about and/or MC, it’s even worse.
I know I can be very sensitive in real life about anything “mind altering” - even medication that serves to prevent anxiety or things like that stresses me out because it “forcibly changes” the mind of the person, not to mention things like drugs. Amnesia is one of the highest things on that list, to the point I feel it even in fiction.
At least, in this story is a thing from the past, even though consequences are still felt now, so it’s less upsetting than if it happened in the present timeline, but still a sudden burst of unease when learning about it. Basically, it would still have been nice to know beforehand.

Not to mention, it can also tie-in to bad experiences or trauma in real life for people - though fortunately that isn’t my case - if someone had for example a relative who suffered from amnesia, be it because of an accident, an illness or something. Having someone you care about forget about you must be one of the most awful things ever.

I have to mention I’ve seen a fair share of games that list amnesia / memory loss on their content warning lists, and that’s always nice.

No problem! Never crossed my mind that it might be triggering or otherwise upsetting, so I’ll add it to the CWs (along with some other things that people have requested to be put on there) in the next update. Please don’t ever feel afraid to request something to be put on the content warning list!

It’s good practice and polite to add something to the content warnings upon request. You never know what is triggering or squicky for some people. Please do not say that a content warning request is “baffling” on my post.

Woah, just stumbled accros this WIP and it was a total emotional rollercoaster.

I love what you have shared with us so far and can only hope to see you continue this work.

The writing is very enjoyable, with a nice pacing to it. The characters have their own traits, making it a very character driven story so far, which I absolutely adore.

Anyway, like I said, I can’t wait to see what else you’re planning for our MCs ! Thank you so much for sharing this WIP with us

Crying I waited all the 30th of each month to read the new update of this masterpice, but As I always say: the most important thing is that you are comfortable with your work. See you when the game gets done in the year 2320 on twine
