From Ashes We Rise [FAWR / WIP] Upd. 30. Oct

I think your character can only become a hero if they are a sidekick first or something like that (didn’t it say that at the start of the game)

There’s two ways, the sidekick way or by making a name for yourself. I think it depends on your emotions you’re feeling at the time and whether or not you blew up the facility.

Heres one more powerful, overdestructive, overpowered ability ever. The Phoenix Force

Is it not if your a sidekick or have powers?

I didn’t even know you could become a hero, I only got the “anti-hero” and “villain” options. Was that an error or did I do something wrong?

@Terrell_Williams and the most annoying ability ever… Fucking BEES.

Says on page one the two ways on how to become a hero:

To become a hero, respected by the other vigilantes, there are two ways. The easiest way is to become a sidekick of an existing hero. This is a challenge as many heroes won’t take sidekicks for a variety of reasons.

The other way would be to help wherever somebody is in need, and in Kalathol, you could find a person in need around every corner, especially in the Narrows.

Sounds like the right kind of ability for my villain :smirk:

Okay, okay.

To the Hero part:
It is grayed out for a purpose. I first want to make the villain and anti-hero path, as it is the easiest for now in my opinion. It will be selectable once I finished any of the other two, as I do not want to write about three ways at the same time. Because Villain and Antihero are very similar in some ways, I gave you guys these options first.

What the different between villains and anti-hero

Antiheroes tend to lack what a hero possesses, be it ideals, courage and/or morality (as set by the society) but they aren’t downright criminals like a villain. Robin Hood is a bit of an antihero, as he breaks the law, but he certainly suffer no lack ideals or courage.

An antihero usually ends up doing good part of the time, like the nameless cowboy portrayed by Clint Eastwood, for instance, who shoots and kills but can’t turn a blind eye to injustice either. Or Catwoman, who happily breaks in and steal but cannot help but do good deeds now and then even so.

Then we have the darker ones that win the day (movies have many of these) and that not everyone in the audience can be bothered rooting for. They fall almost short of the definition, but they are the ‘hero’ of the story.

That is my take on it, any way. :relaxed:

That sums it up ^^
Villains do not care if they hurt others or if their action causes casualties. They just do what they want in my opinion.

Also, I revised the Prologue a bit. There is now more information.
All in all, I think it is better than before ^^

PS: Prologue only goes until the part where the MC dies.

You seems to be missing a full stop at the last sentence in the last paragraph on the first page. Phew, that was a mouthful.

May I ask for another eye colour that exist(ed) after the prologue? Black (or near black). Please? Moot in the great scheme of things, but I miss it. :flushed:

Quite the change to the prologue, all but thought I clicked the wrong link. I like it, though. :relaxed:

Black eye’s gone? (lol) I think that may be my fault…

Oooh, you’d get a black eye for that if I was more a villain than an antihero…

Alright.

Are we able to change the way we are depictured by others, as in the Villain is this “evil”(I hate this word) person, but does something that saves a great deal of lives and is later on seen as something less of a Villain and more of a Hero?

A very interesting WIP @Nekumura ^^
I´m looking forward to the next update :yum:
