From Ashes We Rise [FAWR / WIP] Upd. 30. Oct

He changed to the darker side of the hero business! He doesn’t do “friendship” anymore.

But seriously, most here assume that MC’s death deeply changed him. Not sure if for the better.

Yeah, I’ve got this. Who needs ice powers when you have a refrigerator?

Looks like your fire didn’t work, Phoenix.

Sounds like an interesting book.

Anyway, I have to ask: Who are the ROs for this? It might have been mentioned, but I don’t remember reading the answer.

There is a FAQ in the game that will tell who they are.

But I will tell to you who they are:
Vine
Troy
Specter (I think he is only for women)
Stray (I think he is only for men)
Nero

Those are the confirmed RO.

Oh, I didn’t realize they were going to be orientation-locked!

Stray is gay and Specter is flirty with a woman PC.

I have trouble role-playing evil protagonists (even though I know they can be very interesting and offer new perspective on other characters), so one way or another I expect all of MCs will be leaning toward hero path.

As for specific expectations for different paths.
For the hero I kind of want to see that even though MC stayed hero they still went through a very traumatic experience and how it may have affected them. Would that make them a loner? Maybe not even cold one but afraid to get close to others.
And maybe they keep hiding their identity from Crow more due to self-loathing (they are kind of re-animated corpse after all), than blaming Crow. Or maybe they do blame Crow but not for not saving them, but for allowing a kid to become a sidelick. Overall it might be interesting to see a hero, who became disappointed in Crow.

Also for all the paths I can see reasons why MC whould hide who they are, but hero path is interesting in that aspect is that the more time passes the harder it would be to justify it to others (unlike anti-hero who can use Crow’s dislike as an additional reason) when the truth is finally revealed. So I’m really curious to see how it goes.

And for all paths it would be interesting to see how dynamic between Nero and MC changed.

I honestly thought you were talking about the game developer till Neoheartless added phoenix to that sentence.

Actually it was originally Blizzard and Phoenix, but I changed it as he didn’t seem to like Phoenix. Blizzard is my villain.

And 2 more hidden RO too that you have to find who they are and how to seduce them

Easter eggs? Shelly and Egbert? :grinning:

Does anyone know if Wraith is planning on getting this on the Hosted page?

I don’t really know, but it will be great for her if it get on it ^^

Well, that’s her ultimate goal for now.

I actually try to get it as a hosted game, though so far it could take ages until that happens. I am not even half-way through with the game to even think about this that much. Though it’s my goal!

You will get it there if you set your mind to it.

I have faith. And I’ve experienced your willful nature.

Edit - Although Troy still needs to die in a fire. Just saying. In a sweet and innocent way.
