From Ashes We Rise [FAWR / WIP] Upd. 30. Oct

I like the story, however I believe we need more time with Ace and Crow before our “death”. Throughout the story I regard them as strangers, I have no emotional ties to them what so ever, though it is a huge selling point of the story that I do. So some more play time pre-death would make the story a much more emotional experience.

@Wraith is just a tsundere.
Trust me I know.
rubs bruises

I am eagerly awaiting what the theme will be.

Anyways, I’m pretty sure Anti-Hero will be my favorite path, but I’d probably focus more on the hero part and be an Anti-Hero as an excuse to kill a dangerous villain or two. For the sake of peace…

Mmmh. I didn’t have the same impression, but I can understand your point of view.

Though it didn’t prevent me from hating Troy and wanting to punch him (and do it ) :grin:

More pre-death-time with the Family of Crow, Lucian and Ace?
See your wish as going to be fulfilled!

Yes ! More butler-errr Lucian !
And Ace :grin:

Holy hell, I’m in love… I can’t WAIT to see how this pans out! So far, I’m very happy with how the story played out. I hope your proud of it, it’s great! Though… I am kinda bitter in regards to Troy… I won’t be trying to romance him any time soon… hmph…

Well! Regardless, can’t wait to see what happens next!

Implant (in the family) a bomb right beside the heart and have some sort of heart beat sensor on your person. So the moment your heart stops the family dies.

Brutally effective.

I see the you all are working hard on the “Theory of Forced Allies”. You should also make the bombs tamper proof so that if they try to remove it in any way it goes off, but only through extreme means. If it was too easy the family might sacrifice themselves and purposely ignite the bomb to prevent their superhero family member from staying your “ally”.

Thinking of that, all I can imagine is the PC saying “Woo, I have powers! Be my ally?”

I was watching Daredevil Season 2 and saw this scene about an argument between the Punisher and the Daredevil.
I think it sums up the difference between a Hero and an Anti-Hero and thought about this game and the potential difference between those paths.

For the last time, Lucian is “actually an old family friend, not just a butler”.

Anyone else seeing what I see? :smirk:

Does that mean that from now on whenever we call Lucian a butler you won’t correct us?

:confused: I corrected exactly one person and all because we all calling him a butler and getting corrected feels by now a little bit like an running gag (a gag that even the narrative did take up)… Should I add more emoticons or just end every sentence on lol or something? You know, to get that across? :neutral_face:

I know that, I was only teasing @Wraith :wink:

O goody!

I am not sure if that smiley is looking nice or creepy, Taylor XD

coughs.

Well, back on track before @Cecilia_Rosewood needs to say the almighty words to keep us in line :slight_smile:
So, let’s keep Lucian as the not-butler, alright? Or else people really start to think that he really is one °^^

@Urban
That’s actually very good. Haven’t watched Daredevil except for like… 4 episodes? But it gives me a nice idea on how to get a special scene done :wink: Thanks!

Killing criminals is criminal because it permanently removes the chance for redemption. It also leaves the question of who decides that something is criminal? Is a man who works for a man like Kingpin in order to have money to take care of his family evil?

Society does

That depends on what the work is, is he a bouncer or a torturer? :stuck_out_tongue:
