Can you guys tone it down a bit? 104 (last time I checked) new posts in the last 10 hours (most of which were at best only tangentially on topic) is a bit much.
Seeing how she seems to be a hero I highly doubt we would be able to befriend her. In fact I doubt we’d be able to befriend any allies that we get in the anti-hero or hero paths due to who we will be.
At least anti-heroes are far more accommodable as both heroes and villains when it comes to choosing allies. Flexible morales and all. Still some people of both sides may still don’t want to work with them explicitely because of that (I’m looking at you, Crow).
So there may be some overlap considering allies between anti-hero and both of the other branches.
My logic is that anti-heroes tend to still be heroes. They may have twisted morals but what they are doing can still be considered “Good”. They still hunt down the bad guys but they just do it in very unlawful ways and if anything they could be seen as “Chaotic Good”.
Sure they could make temporary alliances with villains depending on what that villain does but it’s still more likely that they would hunt you down.
After all anti-heroes still go around dealing with criminals, they usually don’t work with them. Then again I don’t know many anti-heroes who ever worked with a villain character that commits mass murder for example.
But because of their morales and methods they could be seen as villains themselves, at least from the viewpoint of “real” heroes. Of course they don’t work together with the extremes of the spectrum, no matter if evil or good (because the one they don’t want to work with and the other doesn’t want to work with them), but small-time criminals? Why not. Some Anti-heroes are what you can call small-time criminals, too.
She has a fit even if you don’t punch Troy. When you run into Vine at that time she’s in a pretty bad mood. She’s angry at you no matter what, you punching Troy just gives some justification for that anger. Depending on what kind of villain you are, she may not be immediately hostile, but she probably wouldn’t be an ally. An agreement similar to what an anti-hero makes with her is probably the best case scenario for a villain.
@Wraith I should not have played through this again. Now I desperately need to know how the cafe-scene with Troy continues, but it looks like that’s not anywhere near the top of your priority list right now
