From Ashes We Rise [FAWR / WIP] Upd. 30. Oct

just quote it and copy it from the window to this thread. Easy

Also, I think it should be fixed now .
You should now be able to continue with the new powers.

Oh, darn, didn’t think of that lol

Oh wow, amidst all this, I almost forgot that you updated the story.

@Nekumura I know this is just the update log, but

  • You can now go visit the cafďż˝!
    The heck is that? lol

An error. Happens sometimes and I need to fix it later. Mep

Was the story updated? I can’t see anything new.

More edits than updates, but yeah. She made it possible to use the new powers in chapter 2, which wasn’t possible before.

Nightingale, light blue and black costume colours, extendable staff weapon. Hmmmm Neku… :smirk:

Minimal update. Just the powers like the Update Log says ~
Though I want to get an actual update out before my holidays end.

Mh, I see nothing wrong there, Umbra ^^° X)

Oh no, my secret is out, whatever will I do. :expressionless: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Some notes on the game, that I somehow manage to forget all the time:

You are known to be an Anti-Hero, dealing out justice as you think would be right and someone who does not shy away from torture or murder of the criminals you fought and tracked down. While you are not feared or loved by either of the other factions, you are known to switch sides pretty often if their arguments are the right ones.

My character would never do these things. DC’s Catwoman is an anti-hero, or hero/villain, and she does not do these things either. That is my anti-hero role-model here.

Perhaps change this based on the choice we made earlier when waking up? If we didn’t regret it, keep the above phrasing, but if it sickened us, perhaps something along the lines of:

You are known to be an Anti-Hero, dealing out justice as you think would be right and someone who does not shy away from hurting the criminals beyond what most heroes would approve of.

In additon, like Catwoman, my character wouldn’t be beyond ‘rescuing’ items to sell in order to be able to pay for things. Not sure where that would be mentioned, though. Perhaps a small choice just before you pick your new outfit, if at all needed? Just a random thought I had right now. :relaxed:

Also, note that the y-shaped post-mortem scar for a female would curve underneath the breasts, in case it does matter. On both male and female it would reach the very top of the collar bones and reach all the way down to the groin area. TV shows and films get this wrong all the time. The idea is to examine the whole skeleton of the torso and all the internal organs, if using the Y incision. :scream:

Hushes off to change that
Thanks

I didn’t know that fact about the Y scar…
Actually, I only remember it from the CSI series I watched years before.
But thanks for clearing that up!

You’re welcome.

There is also the simpler straight cut, from gullet to groin, but the Y is much cooler as a scar. :grinning:

Anyway, not an expert here either, merely passing along what little I do know (I’m a very curious person - in both meanings of that phrase, ha ha).

What’s with the scream?

Anyway…

With normal circumstances, the scar would be easily seen, even from afar. But does anything change if the “cut up person” is able to heal? In most cases of this, the victim(can I say victim?) is already dead, and will stay dead. However, the MC came back to life.

My mother had her, body cut open and sewn back. Rephrase: she went for an operation and they sewed the cut parts back up. The scar healed completely, but it’s small compared to what the MC got haha. So I was wondering, would the MC’s scar have healed, not completely, of course.

Mh… perhaps I should edit it a bit.
Like, when the Mc first woke up, the scar was still very fresh (more or less) and over few days in which the healing was still very strong (it lessened over the year) the once very easily noticed scar turned to very pale skin, almost silvery in comparison with the rest of the body. It can still be seen if somebody knows/is searching for something like that, but otherwise it is not very prominent anymore.

Okay, so either vine has a soft spot for Troy… ahem… Troy…
or she hates people getting hurt.

That how it starts civil like next thing u know there war

Waiting is not one of your virtuous and has never been. Though you are glad you decided to stay around the cathedral as you soon saw something change right next to the west front. It was more like pure luck that you saw someone looking around the corner of the building. Promptly, you shift, moving from your spot on the balcony to the west side of the building.

Marvels Deadpool is also an anti-hero. And he killed the entire marvel universe once. Anti hero is a very broad term that may as well mean “Not a villain and not a hero”

I personally believe Deadpool should be his own category.

Well that debate war ended before it began.

Yeah, he also killed all inspirational people from whom super heroes were drived from. He killed headless horseman so no ghost rider.
@Nathan_Faxon , which debate?

Deadpool isn’t really an anti-hero. It’s more that people who don’t know what anti-hero means lump anyone who isn’t clearly a hero or a villain into that category because it sounds cool.

Deadpool is unstable, so I don’t think he can be placed in any category.
