Just checked out the new powers, they’re pretty sweet. I really love them all, but as for the powers I’ve chosen for my MCs.

  • Vulture: Originally lightning, she has now changed to Shadows/Darkness. - "I’m going to be emotional where no one can see me, I’ll be back to menacingly stare at you from the shadows later Blackbird 2… Also tell Crow I said hi. "
  • Condor: Originally fire, he’s now changed to Blood. - ā€œCaw, I’m a blood bird.ā€
  • Epitaph: Originally ice, she is now Metal. - ā€œCities is made of metal, and other stuff, I control metal… I’m going to figure out how to use this to save money… And mess with everyone.ā€

I just want to say, if you need idea for female ROs. PhDs are hot. XD

@Sammysam For me it’s ā€œWraith, come to the light side, we have the hottie me.ā€

Clearly our kind of girl.

I just hope Epitaph gets her chance to melt half the city’s plumbing.

We will see what is going to happen, mh? :slight_smile:

Mh, what’s that? :open_mouth:

@DisturbedOne
Someone clearly seems to like the new powers :3

And on a completely different note:
Here is Glamour for you. Again, not in costume.

(Huh, I somehow like the style right now… but not going to do a full body like this o.o)

That’s a hot MILF/Cougar.

PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy. The highest type of degree you can generally get in education. Usually a requirement if you want to teach at a university.

I have created a new character!

Name - Zone.
True Name - Cleo Garrick
Gender - Female.
Power - Darkness.
Background - Raised in the Narrows.
Alignment - Anti-Hero.
Hairstyle - Black. Chin length.
Eye Colour - Amber.
Weapon of Choice - Baseball bat. (since this weapon isn’t and probably won’t be present, I’m using the staff as a placeholder.)
Outfit. - Zone wears a hooded zip up jacket and combat pants with a lightweight utility vest. She also wears kevlar gloves and motorcycle boots. Her colour theme is mostly black. Unlike most vigilantes, Zone does not wear a mask. She has a hood and beanie over her head and wears black war paint on her eyes.

Profile:
Cleo learnt one thing when growing up in the Narrows, only rely on yourself. After her father abandoning her and mother’s death, she learnt the hard way to survive and that’s to do whatever it takes. Cleo had a strange sense of justice; mug only those who have it coming. Drug dealers, gangbangers, ruffians etc. Because she was a young girl, a lot of people in the Narrows didn’t see her as threat and she took advantage of this, using the deceiving appearance to get close enough before beating them to a pulp with her baseball bat. Sometime later she met Crow, somebody she truly respected, and he took her under her wing.

She was grateful for what Crow did for her and started to see him as a paternal figure. The staff she used was a bit awkward to use, more suited to Street weapons, but she got used to it. After her revival and escaping the facility, she discovered she can control the shadows to some degree, it intrigued her. After finding out she was replaced and forgotten by Crow, she felt betrayed and abandoned just like her biological father did before her. Cleo went back to her Narrows survival state; trusting only herself.

She adopted the vigilante name of Zone. She changed her weapon from the awkward staff back to her trusted baseball bat and using the techniques she learnt from Crow, she is faster, more agile and more deadly with the street weapon. Zone barely uses her powers for offensive purposes, mostly using them to blend into the darkness and sense her prey around her. Zone sees killing as a necessary evil, eliminating those who are too dangerous to be kept alive and just beating petty thugs senseless until they get the message. She will never harm an innocent but doesn’t look to seek their approval of her methods. They know she’s dangerous, she knows she’s dangerous so there’s no point in trying to change the public’s opinion of her as long as she knows she’s doing justice. She doesn’t particularly care for Crow or Troy, moving on from the past and has no intentions of rekindling their relationship, he made his choices and now he has to live with them.

Zone’s personality is very stoic and indifferent. The hero business is just another job for her and isn’t looking for any kind of fame or glory, just survival. If there’s somebody she can’t defeat in one round, she will find them interesting and more than just your average thug. She talks in street, using a lot of slang words and with it mixed with her accent, it is sometimes difficult to understand her words.

I just needed to look up what exactly you meant, because MILF is a word I never heard before and I was really unsure about the right use of ā€˜Cougar’ here XD
But thank you very much ^^

@Shoelip
Ah, thank you very much for the explanation! :slight_smile:

@Nathan_Faxon
Zone is surely a character one should not meet alone during the night! :slight_smile:
Nice Character you have there!

Tranlating: she is a beautiful older woman.

Jup, that’s what I found out later :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed. Zone is not a friendly vigilante at all :smile:

So know I have Zone as my Anti-Hero and Phoenix as my Villain. All I need now is a Hero character :thinking:

Also this video inspired Zone’s Choice of weapon and fighting style:

Hey, won’t those with shadow powers be far more powerful at night than in the day ? Because night basically turn a city into a realm of shadows.

Plus her territory is the Narrows, so lots of dark places to hide and she utilises the powers to blend in. You won’t notice her presence until the baseball bat hits your face :smirk:

+1, for the brunette MILF. She just won the second place on the RO’s pyramid.

The last sound they’ll hear will be the sound of a faint whispering : ā€œsneak,sneak,sneakā€ growing closer and closer, until it is too late… A swing in the dark, and then faint ā€œsneak,sneakā€ going in the opposite direction.
Then began the legend of the ninja Batsman : Zone.

How do you tell the difference between shadow and just darkness? I mean… they’re basically the same thing. Darkness is the shadow of whatever is coming between you and the light, be it a roof or the earth. A shadow is just a form of darkness.

What ? Did I resurrected the darkness/shadow topic without noticing ? Or are you just asking for my opinion on the matter @Shoelip ?

What would be more hilarious is the way Zone speaks. She is from the Narrows…

Troy: just the woman I was looking for.

Zone: look at you wit yer swag. Wha’ ya needin’ me for, bruv?

Troy: Eh… What? .____.

Zone: clears throat. What. Do. You. Want?
