Alright… I will think of another way ^^ Thanks for letting me know ~
I’m pretty sure because it’s a private chat. Try posting them here then.
Also, achievement unlocked! Barely lol
There’s Specter( grats btw) and ghost, please tell me there was a Phantom lol
I have to agree, her powers were simple but had unlimited access and possibilities. Darn my imagination, I should of added a major downfall.
No worries, I can fit her into mine and tinker it so it’s so much an ability but a talent. Besides, we already made an Easter egg exchange
Congrats to everyone!
Seeing as no one can see the characters, I’ll just post this here.
Alias: Cabal. (Note: this alias is based on CABAL from Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun/Firestorm who is the predecessor to LEGION from Command & Conquer: Kane’s Wrath. While Legion would be a more fitting name for them, because of their power, they don’t want their power advertised. That’s why they went with Cabal instead.)
Name: Do they have to have names? I suck at names. If male: Norman Barrow. If femle: Ethel Barrow. (Note: I don’t really care what gender they are as they would still be the same person. You can choose one if you want, let the forum choose if it wins, or code in gender if you really, really want to. Doesn’t really matter to me)
Hair color: Light brown, almost like hazelnut.
Eye color: Emerald green.
Faction: Villain or Anti-Hero or Hero depending on individual viewpoints. If you asked the character, they would say anti-hero. If you ask me, I would say a mixture of all three. Their heart is in the right place. Cabal will always fight for a just cause, though how exactly how they go about that is a little dodgy.
First off, they don’t like to kill innocent people for two reasons. First reason is because Cabal likes a challenge and adding a code to not kill civilians makes things more challenging. Second reason is because they’re just bystanders, he/she doesn’t like to kill people that they don’t think deserve it. However they do often fall prey to ruthless calculus, meaning they would be willing to sacrifice millions if it meant saving billions (usually on a much smaller scale though), and they would do so with little hesitation. Or unless a civilian is abusing another, though they are more likely to be crippled rather than killed.
Now on to how they deal with villains, specifically, villains that kill innocent bystanders. If said villain has been killing indiscriminately for a while, Cabal will take lethal action against them. If the villain seems to be targeting a certain kind of ‘civilian’ than Cabal will make a judgement call as to whether or not the ‘civilian’ deserves it. If the civvy does, then Cabal will move on while keeping an eye on that villain. If the civvy doesn’t, then he/she will start taking a non-lethal action (grazing, maiming, whatever) to warn them. Should the villain continue, then they will start taking lethal actions. Now one has to clarify what exactly makes an innocent bystander innocent. Cabal also doesn’t have a problem killing civilians who are considered villainous.
How do they deal with Heroes you ask? Cabal ignores them for the most part.
Power: Can make clones of themselves. Remember when I said Legion would be a better alias if they wished to advertise their powers? This is why. They can control and coordinate with three other clones with little to no effort. Four to six requires a moderate amount of concentration. From seven to twenty requires an immense amount of concentration from the character; at this point they will find a secluded spot and enter into a deep focus state where they are oblivious to their surroundings. The clones also have to stay within a radius of ten miles from the original, otherwise they will dissipate.
The clones are ‘near perfect’ clones, meaning they can do everything that Cabal can do besides think for themselves and create other clones. No one would be able to tell the difference between the original and a clone. A clone can even die and leave a body behind so long as the original wills the body to remain and that the original stays within ten miles of said body. However, Cabal does not like having clones be seen too close together as having so many similar-looking people in one area would arouse suspicion. They can pose as twins or triplets in public, but quintuplets and up will start gaining attention. Cabal does not want people to be aware of their presence.
Personality: If I were to describe them using one word, that would be: Cunning. However, I imagine you would need more detail than that. How to describe a sociopath? Hmm… That’s a tough one. I can’t really describe how a sociopath thinks, so instead I will be slightly changing the character’s personality.
Cabal is a very complex individual. They’re a calm and collected person, both outside and in, their mind and body(ies) in sync with each other. He/She likes playing chess as well as various other strategy games and has a deep appreciation and understanding of history. Also appreciates art so long as it has some historical significance. Cabal is also antisocial. They prefer actions, body language and silence as opposed to conversation. You can coax them to talk but you will have a difficult time doing so, unless you are Cabal’s friend or happen to be visiting a museum. Speaking of friends, Cabal doesn’t make very many but they’re loyal to the ones that are. So long as you don’t interfere with their work, you and Cabal will be friends for life. Though, getting friendship status is a difficult endeavor.
MC Relationship: See above to get a general idea of how they react to other people and apply it here. Now if the MC plans on getting in Cabal’s way, then Cabal will make MC’s life a living hell by thinking up elaborate ways of killing them and you can have a nice rivalry going. If the MC will not be in Cabal’s way, then they will range from anywhere to ignoring them to acquaintance to possible friend if they’re patient enough to try.
Weapon: Their mind is, without a doubt, their greatest weapon. Controlling and coordinating with their clones has honed it to a sharp edge. Cabal is lethally adept when it comes to tactics. They also have a massive armory of weapons, mostly guns. Almost anything you can want out of there: assault rifles, rifles, explosives, sniper rifles, smgs, pistols. Everything besides shotguns. Too messy. Out of those, Cabal definitely prefers the sniper. It’s long range, precise and doesn’t leave as much of a mess as the other guns. Explosives are mostly for blowing things up to clear a path or to cause a distraction. They’re also decent at CQC. Combine that with the clones, anyone who prefers melee is going to have a hard time.
Other: Is an excellent cook.
Dislikes shotguns (unless they’re antique).
Keeps antique firearms, knives and equipment in the armory to look at but never use
I gotta ask what place would Sonic Boom have got?
There really was a Phantom as well ^^
I will post the other two Characters here
@AnimoBianco
Alias: Specter
Name: No name - see others
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Brown
Faction: Anti-Hero
Power: None but proficient in the arts
of assassination - close quarters combat,
ranged weapons, etc
Prefers short knives - throwing knives etc.
Perceptive, fast reflexes, excellent at
pokerfaces and knowing whether someone
is lying and all those stuff
Personality: -silent - can be mistaken as a mute but he like talks in the epilogue or something
- mysterious and deadly
- gets jobs done quickly and stealthily
- avoids bloodshed though doesn’t mind it (doesnt want blood on his clothes etc)
- loves music especially alternative rock
- loves coffee and high places
- a weakness for women (isn’t a player but awkward and doesn’t fight women)
- no powers
- enamored with the MC if a woman (straight)
- friendly with the MC if a man
- not evil but not a good guy either
- yeah, he’s a guy
MC Relationship: a silent friendly
relationship (possible romance)- when he
hangs out with the MC they are mostly
silent having coffee and the likes. If
the MC is talkative, he just listens
quietly and nods - not offering advice
or input but the MC will know, in a way,
that he understands. Otherwise, when
together they are both quiet. They meet
when he saves the MC’s life in a mission and the MC
finds him drinking coffee somewhere(or something) a few days later and
it turns into a chase ending up in a
confrontation where they end up becoming
acquaintances then friends (and maybe
something more). You can decide whatever to do with it
Weapon: LOTS of knives. There are knives
strapped to every part of his body ready
to be thrown or used as a short ranged
weapon for close quarter combat
Other: has no memories of the past but has a skill for combat and assassination
and survives the dark parts of Kalathol. Because of this, he is forced to kill
anyone who tries to harm him and since he doesn’t speak and is emotionless, he is
given the alias, “Specter” which basically means ghost. A few years since finally settling
into Kalathos, he begins to work as a freelancer trying to find out where he came from.
If the MC and him are close, the MC can give him a name. (y)
@UmbraLamia
Alias: Ferrum
Name: (I’ll leave this one blank)
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Brown (Apparently, there’s no black
)
Faction: Idk, Villain or Anti-Hero, depending on how you see it.
Power: The power, to control metallic elements! (the chemistry ones) Can change elements to solid, liquid and gaseous forms. Able to mold them as he sees fit. Suspend them in mid-air, blah blah kind of stuff.
Personality: Seemingly warm, somewhat friendly. When annoyed/angered, though, his personality does a full 360. He doesn’t kill the instigator, but he does heavily incapacitate them. Somewhat values life. Contrary to that, believes that the act of letting victims live is going too easy on them. Basically serious anger issues.
MC Relationship: Probably hostile.
Weapon: A personally made Katana or a jian, whichever you think looks more awesome
(idk, I kinda like Asian weapons, maybe I’m biased
)
Other: He robs stores and occasionally banks for income. Though for some reason he never takes much more than he needs. Usually leaves hostages alive, but if angered, tortures them relentlessly. Prefers to leave victims in intensive care, rather than the morgue, for reasons stated above. Prefers to rob more well-to-do establishments, but doesn’t give ‘earnings’ to poor either, no Robin Hood.
Sorry my phone was dieing around then
none of the entries had concrete legal names
Now that you say it… that’s true o.o
But hey, at least @AnimoBianco gave you guys the chance to name the character later on
We’ll see what you guys come up with ~
Also, as the winner is a male character, I still need to create two more female characters ^^ Yay the joy. ~
Did anyone enter a hero? From what I’ve seen, most everyone is an anti-hero or a villain. XD
mine was Christine Sunner xD, i think it suits a girl
Seeing all the entries makes me feel like I kept mine short and sweet. Anyway since there is no risk in telling, here was my wondrous entry of Ghost the booty hacker.
Alias: Ghost
Name: Katie Calow
Hair color: Chestnut Brown
Eye color: Sky Blue
Fraction: Villain
Power: Technopathic: can control electronics and machines. Hack any software. Cause city-wide blackouts. communicate through electronics like phones, televisions, computers etc.
Personality:
An early-20’s student was chosen to become a part of an intelligence gathering unit working for the Pentagon called ECHO, Katie used her powers to become very successful in her career. Two years later, she discovered highly classified information which marked her a high risk and had to be taken care of, she became scared and angry at the government and became Ghost, a cyber terrorist that cripples and undermines law enforcements and the government in anyway possible, treating civilian casualties as collateral damage. She’s paranoid but extremely intelligent. She has a sharp tongue but deep inside she’s very lonely. She hates lawfulness and finds it very hard to trust.
MC Relationship: Hostile to Heroes/Anti-Heroes, Neutral to Villains (she will like them if they attack the police.)
Weapon: None (See other)
Other: Nobody has seen Ghost in person nor does she make public appearances, when she communicates through devices her voice is robotic and the image is a black background with her emblem: A blank marionette mask. Therefore, she possesses no weapons and wears civilian clothes.
There were two Hero entries
While they were nice as well, though sadly not as good as the other three.
I had two entries
Shame. I was planning to enter a hero as my next character if we were allowed multiple entries. Still glad mine made runner up.
Well, the first was with shadows and could not be used, so it is rather that the other was scrapped
You thought yours was short?
Alias: Sonic Boom
Name: Sera Rizzo
Hair color: Auburn
Eye color: Left one red, right one green
Fraction: Anti-Hero
Power: Can create shockwaves by clapping her hands, can fly faster than the speed of sound.
Personality: Usually a happy person that doesn’t really care about what her actions can cause (also a little bit loopy). But will always try to help civilians and would kill villains at the first chance she has.
MC Relationship: Can grow to love the MC if you take the hero or anti-hero route but hates them if they be evil (She is a lesbian Love Interest)
Weapon: Pistols (because why not?)
Other: Loves someone with scars?
Oh cmon, you could’ve waited a little longer for that reply…
And then others would have asked why you were allowed to have more entries and I would be forced to answer everything ^^
This was much better in my opinion ~
Yeah, Umbra… Why did YOU get two entries? gives the evil eye
@SheaMcD the eye colour? That’s pretty cool.
