I’m going to implement something in that regard, Empathy wont be the only one you can communicate with. And her power ‘does’ tire her out if she keeps using it to ‘Translate’ thoughts. The girl needs ‘quiet’ time.

First is a clever critter, as seen in the meeting of Nyoka, First can charade or write if need be and get their mind across in a ‘simple’ way but complex stuff would be a little more difficult.

Also there is another character that does ‘sign’ though he’s not the most pleasant individual.

AND there may be a little ‘gift’ in First’s future
