Hmmm how about a mix of it? For the most part go with simple but in the case of some particularly big or important fights two stats checks maybe more if you’ll manage. Just my idea, i’m partial to simple cause i focused on none strength stuff.

Made another update
This one furthers the Obstacle course,(a little) I’ve clearly marked the unfinished bits.
I’ve decided that these actions should be stacked in ‘successful’ ‘sort of successful’ and ‘light failure’ results SO if someone with a low stat decided they wanted to use that they’d get an opportunity to choose and get a few chances rather than get smacked down for one bad choice.
llet me know if the code is working. It may be the heart of my action system moving forward.

Once I’ve finished the obstacle bit I’ll be continuing where I left off.

I’d go with Vyde but I’d use Ten’s reactions to gauge my success… the more horror-filled the expression, the better I did at shopping

I’d like to play devil’s advocate for a moment (I chose Vyde myself, but want to see Ten too).
Empathy is a person who works for Vyde and can possibly give us even more insight if we’re really that curious about them and what it’s like working with them (and maybe we can get learn even more if we choose to stay with Vyde and Empathy).
Ten is someone who works for Vahli and can probably offer the same type of insight on the woman (in his own unique way) by being something of a counterpart to Empathy in his shopping interactions with First, letting us get more information on what it’s like working Vahli.
Both Vyde and Ten will possible have a hilarious reaction to a First who doesn’t understand why one must be modest about their naked body in public (though I see Vyde taking it more in stride).

What about having a mobile service come to us… that might even make things more interesting during the decision making process. I’m just thinking here.

Vyde seems nice, but I’d rather go shopping with Ten, just because he helped with the space hamster story, that was just too funny. Troublemaking all the way!

Ten will have a very interesting ‘angle’ when it comes to escorting First around town. I’m positive you’ll love it.
Vyde will be interesting too in a more playful manner. Again lots of fun
I’m definitely going for different experiences for the different characters that’s why it’ll just be the three.
