Will you follow the example of your forbearers and rain calamity upon the land, or forge something else for the future? Whatever happens, The Hero will never leave your side.

⨳Demo 1.8k Words (For now!)

⨳Since olden times, people have been fond of fairytales filled with fairies, elves, princes and princesses. Knights in shining armour slaying demons and dragons.

Classically, not all these tales have been jovial, and not all tales favoured righteous knights saving lost princesses.

Some tales favour the towering castle built in the middle of a dark river, built brick by brick from the crushed bones of questionable origins, and containing the howls and screams of vengeful ghouls.

Within this castle rests the most feared in the realm. The one who terrorizes all kingdoms within a 3000 miles radius. The one who is said to bring calamity rain, who eats children and the innocent every fortnight-

The Demon Lord.

⧼⨳You⨳⧽ The Demon Lord

Born to a young priestess, the current Demon Lord is only half demon. Their appearance, name, and defining features are not known to the public.

Very recently crowned after the death of the previous Demon King, who advocated heathenism and shed rivers of blood wherever he set foot, the reputation of the current Demon Lord is shrouded in their father’s silhouette.

⧼⨳Yuven⨳⧽ The Hero

Humanity’s foretold flame is a fickle thing. Cowardly, questionable, and a thief through and through. People say they must have been switched at birth- that is to say, they are not the true Hero at all.

Raised in the holy grounds after they were born with eyes of an abnormally agate shade, and hair that shimmers iridescently. They are the model picture of a classic chosen hero of fate.

There isn’t much here to comment on, but I personally love the plot of this story. I haven’t read anything that had one ro option that caught my eye, but this did!

I hope you continue to work on this so that the forum can provide meaningful feedback.

E. You live near a snow field and that is most accessible route for the Hero to take to your castle. Why? To deliver the flowers

Concept is interesting, but the demo has nothing going for it right now. I don’t mean this in a mean way, just that there’s no draw and pull to the story yet with only a beginning section of the prologue to skim through- probably would’ve at least finished the prologue before posting a demo, since there’s not really anything to comment on or get invested in right now beyond the premise.

Definitely interested. I love playing a demon lord, and I love the chance to romance the Hero. I like the setup already, but it is still incredibly short. I did also like the short mythological snippet about the first mother.

And for my answer…E: either they’re just lost in the tundra or having a prophetic dream of their future demon ro…our mc. :joy::+1:

Nothing really there to give feedback on yet but it’s refreshing to be a villain in games although it’s up to us if we want to keep doing that or not which is a interesting take on it. Of course we can’t just have people to accept a chill lord right off the bat for obvious reasons but at least the option is there assuming they won’t try and fail miserably to end us. I’m watching this game and will play again when more is here
