I really, really dig the personality system! It is nice to finally play a stoic character with stable and controlled demeanor. It’s a rarity - usually, no matter how stoic my character is supposed to be, they still act kinda… emotional and strange.

noticed that i was back to the interlude so that means you must’ve added some stuff. like them addressing the face covering if you have. also, i dont know if i went with the low sanity path but the option to comfort shian with ur tail is there and it even says the tail i prefer which is surprising but on the next few pages, it shows me the options to customize my abyssal look. dont know if its a bug or something. will be going through with a fresh save to see if its still the same
edit: i think i kinda sorta see whats going on here. it seems like playing through an already existing save messes it up and overlaps some stuff. new playthrough is fine.

Maybe it’ll give some ideas to people for how their Harbinger looks. I went with a bestial base this playthrough (instead of just very large “”“mortal”""), and a reference just came to me. So, I’ve decided the true form of mine is basically Vicar Amelia from Bloodborne, but winged (and tendrils) (and mouths). I feel she’s a great example of a bestial…thing, and is great to help my aphantasic self visualize that form.
Picture for anyone unfamiliar, to save a search, though you may need to look around a bit to figure out what the fuck is going on past the fur/hair everywhere.

I came up with a different “true form” for each of my Orions based on their talent.
The bloodmage is a spriggan, for example, covered in blood flowers, a red, orange, and yellow toxic flower that is known for attracting butterflies.

A form I came up with for my Madness MC: A giant snake like being that’s skinny, way longer then he is tall and has a ton of centipede like arms and legs. His head is shaped like a anaconda’s but with 5 eyes and all along his neck is hundreds of fanged mouths. He’s also got a cute ring of tendrils at the base of his neck where his shoulders start.

I do love that it has that variation in the customization. There’s the options to make horrific eldritch monstrosities, faux-angelic beings, and just a person, all totally possible and “viable”.

My MC…is literally just a person. A tired and possibly annoyed/annoying person. xD At least for the moment, lol. I don’t wanna go too hard on the “monster” theme, but indecision means MC is a blank slate as of now lmao
