After much hardwork, persuasion, and whining, I finally convince my parents to give me enough money to buy one appstore game.
At first I thought of buying Best of Us.
But then my mind went back, waaaaay back to my early days here, where I had the honor to try out a fabulous demo that left me wanting for more.
And so I downloaded Fatehaven.
Can you imagine how excited I was? It was YEARS since I played the game’s demo… But now I got to finish it.
And finish it I did.
And dear God was that ending worth it.
My only regret is that I didn’t buy a more replayable game, because it will be a while until I can convince my parents to let me use up another few dollars for… I don’t know, either Life of a Wizard or Tin Star.
But other than that, the game was awesome. The ending… I did not expect that. Dude, that was… What’s the term people use? Meta? I just… Wow. It really caught me off guard.
Sadly after playing the game four more times (once for every other romance option other than Silvana, another one for no RO, and a last one to see how much renown I could get), the game got a bit dull. But I’d still definitely recommend it to my friends… If they ever had an interest in Choice of Games.
My overall favorite scen is when you play as a fire mage, and you talk about being a Blacksmith’s apprentice, and talk about your dead dwarf master… Man, I nearly teared up during that scene man. Sure, the other three about Silvana were sad, but talking about old man Gundrik… Man, I can still feel a few of them trying to come out.
I do have a few concerns though. One is for the Consultants, in the Patch ending, we go back to them, but in all the other endings, they aren’t even mentioned… What happened to mah bros back there? In fact, what happens to the other ROs? In Patch’s ending, I got to see Silvana and see Breden go to war. In Breden’s, I was still friends with Silvana but heard nothing of Patch. And in Silvana’s, I don’t hear from the other two at all…
