Peacock origin prologue is up now, but I’ve decided that all prologues are half finished. I need to resolve things in Lory’s story, and the average prologue word count won’t cut it.
So technically, half of peacock origin is up, and all the other current origins will be updated later with added content.
Also, while the main story won’t be added until much later after the prologue is complete, there may be occasional updates with side stories accesible from the stats page.

If you get the chance, you should probably add a physical/age description of the… (humans? magicians?) people our MC familiar character has to follow. I’m only saying because with the fox one, when you first introduced the… ok, I’m calling them humans! When you first introduced the human in the fox one, I had (for some ungodly reason) imagined him (the human) as a possibly five year old, maybe eight year old. But when he tried driving the car, that’s when my image of him got shattered, so I aged him up to sixteen, until he entered the bar, so I had to age him up to at least twenty-one!
With the damselfly, I “learned” my lesson and just imagined the guy to also be twenty-one. Imagine my shock when I find out he’s way younger!
Point I’m trying to make; you might want to make it clear early on whether the human is a “young adult” or younger, for my sanity’s sake
Edit: I just finished reading the peacock one, and now now I feel silly for my little outburst

Ohh okay, I’ll do that. I had initially decided against it because they’re gonna age anyway, but I see it’d be better to clear up the nationality and age.
Asa is actually 19 when you first meet him. The drinking age in UK is 18. The bar is in Dundee, Scotland.

I am hoping a personality and style that can be decided as the peacock is very flamboyant

Eeee update!
You made me wibbly about the peasibs dangit!

You looked up at his smiling face and thought Lory must be growing up too. Pretty shades of purple and blue were blooming around his eyes. You wondered how colorful you would both become. …oh. Oh no.
Scuse me while I set up the “protect Lory at all costs” club. And there may be a literal club involved for their parents. Just sayin…

Happily, peafowl remember their dinosaur lineage. They’re vicious balls of fabulousness
/channeling inner velociraptor.
You’ve made me protective of someone I’ve known for like ten pages is my point. Well played.

So will we be able to romance our magi then?
This was so fun for me to play, I worked in Dundee for a year and Klozet was one of my haunts! Didn’t meet my Magi there though damnit!

So, uhm, ahem, could we romance other familiars or their Magis?
Ask for science.

Other magis are off limits (I mean, even romancing your own magi is something of a taboo), but other familiars, yes. Though the choice may be limited.

You give me some idea to write a fanfic, …a Noragami(also called Stray God?) AU.

Oh look, this WIP ticks off another item on the Stuff That Intrigues Me checklist (I mean, a bond that close with an expectation to keep it professional - yes please!). Keep 'em coming!

Not gonna lie, I’m kind of disappointed, but oh well.
@VioletHikari
Honestly, why would you go after other magi after finding the one you were meant to be together by destiny? Other than fan-service, it just doesn’t make sense in this story.
I’ve only played the Dragonfly route so I don’t know what happens in the others, but from what I’ve gathered the need to find our magi is almost primal in nature, a compulsion, and once you find them the bond starts to kick in - your magi becomes your entire focus, your best friend, mate and guide. You’re not supposed to go after anyone else. You -shouldn’t- be interested in anyone else.

And yet it’s taboo to be with them in a romantic manner? And we are able to be with other familiars if we wanted to?
Besides like I said, it was only a slight disappointment. It’s not like I’m going to stop playing this WiP if I can’t romance another Magi. Honestly, so far I’m only interested in romancing our Magi

How I understand it, familiars don’t have much interest in humans in general. Besides, it would be strange to have divided priorities between a human lover and a magi, for other familiars at least they are at the same level.
