I’ve begun work on my first WIP False ancestry.
You are the child prodigy, the star of the town, the next in line to be captain of the football team. You are the dream that other people want to live, you have always been great at whatever you put effort into. However, that is no longer the case, you have been suspended from the team for the rest of the school year. All because of an incident involving you and a former teacher of the school.
Now you have to deal with the consequences of your actions. You are still the star of the town, but things are different now, even if ever so slightly. That isn’t the only thing that has changed. The other star of the town, the queen bee, who’s been missing for the last three weeks, has been found and safely returned home. Except there is only one problem, she has lost all memories of the last ten months of her life. You are the person who knows her the best, so you have been tasked with helping her regain her memories.
Maybe if things had continued along this path, maybe if things had been different, then everything would have returned to normal, back to the status quo. The Troubled Star and the forgotten star would have returned to normal, but fate had different plans for everyone. A monster is hiding in the woods, stalking and hunting, someone wronged and calling for justice. A child who lost everything.
Spurred by a murder and a thirst for vengeance, a series of events unfold, and it’s only then that you are truly awakened to the world around you, filled with monsters and things that can’t be called human. Do you have what it takes to overcome your instincts, the thing that drives you to destroy everything around you, to save the people closest to you, and retain your humanity?
You have seven days until prom arrives to make your decision, whether as a wolf, a vampire, or a man. Seven days to overcome your past and your trauma, seven days to decide where you stand in this cruel world, seven days until you are a man or a monster.

Main Love interests.
- Rachael Von Liechtenstein.
Vice captain of the cheerleader team, overall great friend despite everything. She is a bit weird with how she acts sometimes, you wonder how much of her is the real her and how much is an act.
- Skye White
Nerd, weeb, and, surprisingly, the captain of the volleyball team. President of the school anime club as its only member, not for lack of trying to get people interested. She is one of your childhood friends and the one that you are closest to, is your best friend despite her odd behavior.
- Irene North
Queen Bee, Captain of the cheerleading squad, one of your five, four childhood friends. She can be considered your biggest rival in life and your second biggest defender. Both of your parents work together to manage their collective finances. So it has allowed both of you to be close, both as friends and enemies.
- Jamie Mayors
A victim, that is the best word to describe Jamie; he has always been bullied for as long as you have known him, and it can also be said that you have always been the one to save him from those bullies. The reason for him being bullied is simply because he is feminine, from the way he looks, the way he talks, the way his body curves. The issue is only made worse by the inaction of his parents, his father doesn’t care, and his mother almost enables it. He isn’t like Irene or Skye, but he is still one of your childhood friends, even if you have drifted apart.
- Ryan Ashford
The most annoying yet charming guy you know, Ashford, for all intents and purposes, is a clown that marches to the beat of his own drum. Which for some reason, works out in his favour every step of the way, and that makes him the best captain that you could ask for. He is the main reason that you gave football a second chance, and the main reason why you haven’t been expelled yet, besides Irene.
- Charlotte Jenkins
Misguided? That’s the best way you can describe CJ, you can’t blame her too much, as she actively tries to be better than her family, but she is somehow still a bit tone deaf with half of the things that she says. She is that one friend who says something unintentionally horrible with a dumb smile on her face, she reminds you of someone you knew sometimes.
- John Smith
The new transfer student, you haven’t personally met him, but word travels fast around the school. He is the archetype of transfer students in movies, cold, quiet, and distant from everyone, but the first two descriptions of him could be because he’s rumored to be mute. The one thing that is constantly mentioned besides his muteness, is his sheer arrogance despite being unable to speak. All bite, no bark. As they say.
- Dante Ericcson
You haven’t met him yet.
