In the newest demo that was posted above when you are setting your stats both the leadership and politics prompts affect the leadership stat, so there isnāt a way to actually set your politics stat.

My step is too paranoid to trust anyone that those paths wouldnāt happen but it was it nice to see the doc redeem herself a bit on the last path despite the elephant in the room. That whole body switch thing is weird and so awkward until the two back where they belong.
The three choices in demo character creation i still donāt get are āsetting the puppet stateā (what is n1, n2, n3, n4), knowing how many gates Iāve opened, and then the one just mentioned āhow much do you know about the politics of the cityā? Are there explainers somewhere for knowing which to choose?
From what I understood n1-4 is a choice of how the person (?) in the puppet behaves and what their attitude towards mc is. Though in the last demo I noticed that 1, 2, 3 are no different and 4 is a bit less hostileā¦

Oh huh. I donāt know that Iāve even seen or noticed that stat so I guess the answer is not much. Sounds like itās geared toward certain motivation paths.
Like leadership for Mob Boss, the politics stat only shows up on your character page if you are playing as a anarchist (Malin said they are probably going to change that for both stats in Revelations). Unlike leadership there hasnāt been any checks for it so far

Iām not gonna lie, mortum drugging you is such an enormous betrayal and genuine safety risk that I dont think i can forgive them for that. Sidestep in my opinion gets over it way too quickly given his background with the farm and especially his thing about freedom and Life (if that was your motivation). Being pragmatic is one thing but the seething terror fueled rage I would feel in that position is beyond my ability to conceptualize fully. Its like the more and more I think about it, the less and less i like mortum from that action alone. This is what you do? are you dead ass? And then You NUMB my powers?? when weāre head to head with a cannibalistic insane monster, you STILL rely on me? So not only do i have to save you, but your 3 misfit villians too? Without my suit? Now they know my identity. And im supposed to just go āoh yea lol, sorry I loved you in a different body (that looks exactly like my real one) and didnt tell you sooner than I did, i suppose you drugging me, kidnapping me, depriving me of my powers, forcing me to face an enormous threat without any sort of protective armor while revealing my identity to 3 other villians and having to save you is just as bad right?ā Insanity. Mortum, we are done. Believe that. (S)heād have to do something huge to help me for me to be like āah ok, ill let this little grudge dieā¦.ā.
Mind you, this would be more or less acceptable, even justified (but very unwise) if you had a relationship with her as Eden and didnt actually care about her in any real capacity. But i literally love you bro. I get you were hurt and acting irrationally butā¦come on now. We have to limits. And you did all of that knowing im a Re-gene? Doing exactly what ātheyā did to me too? come on Mortum.
Another casual win for Argent. My silver nanobot shark queen would never do this to me.

I donāt intend to include this path in my main route, more or less for the reasons you mentioned, but it really made me laugh how Mortum almost peed their pants being so nervous when MC were still tied up and couldnāt use telepathy XD Quite rightly so. You donāt want to make an enemy of this villain, Doc, believe me.

Now that Iāve played the portion of the paths where the MC goes to hollow grounds house, I so desperately wish I can beat him up like be did to Eden. Obviously such a major crime boss would probably be a very powerful and potent enemy so sensibly speaking I get why MC wouldnāt, but oh God do I want to. You beat up my front man? I can NOT let that slide. me breaking into your house isnāt enough. I need you injured. I need to break your finger or break your arm or something. Let you figure out how to lie to your little throuple on what happened. And wire Mia a few thousand while youāre at it tooā¦or else. lol.
Also, donāt we have the option to kill shroud during the auction? I wonder how that info scene plays out if we took that route.
Every time I play this demo after a big update there is always a question when making a character that makes me go wait! I didnāt know that was a thing and I end up playing the last games again because I found out there was something new to see.

There will be more violent options added when Malin comes back to the scene with other paths (the HG house visit will be a thing in almost all paths just at different times in the book)
Actually it was to yell at Argent to kill her which she refuse to do but she can accidently take her arm

While I can 100% excuse Sidestep putting their differences aside sinceā¦ Thereās a freaking fiend walking around Mortumās lab, I agree with you fully and I hope that Malin does come back to it so they can at least talk about it.

It took me ~5+ years and the 3rd game to realize Argent could be classified as an āenemies to loversā ā¦
I only thought of her as the fun one

Actually the next-level treat is to show HG your face, establish you might siblings, be cordialā¦and then break some bones as retribution on your way out the door. I think HG should process that violence differently if he thinks you might be family, more like a petulant younger sibling being an asshole than a villain being vengeful. Honestly I think the HG/sibling conversations hold a lot of promise. Iām looking forward to them.

Same here but without wanting to break HGās bones part. I want HG to see Sidestep as a sibling, and Step reciprocating that feeling. So many interesting things that can come out of that dynamicā¦ Drama with Ortega, Sidestep feeling like they belong in a human family, having HGās crime empire support Sidestep against the Farmā¦
