Yes, you can and should. Suffering is not an excuse to cause more suffering to innocents.
You are aware that the name of the game youâre playing is Fallen Hero, right? The cool thing about interactive fiction is that you donât need to play as someone whoâs a paragon of virtue if you donât want to.
While this is clearly the ideal to strive for in real life, fiction allows us space to explore all the possible answers to the original question (and people have a lot of reasons for doing so).
Obviously. The protag is not a good person. We all agree and love the drama of it. I disagreed with your comment about principles, thatâs all.
Iâm not saying it shouldnât be explored in fiction. On the contrary the more tragic the more entertained and happy I am
I love Puppet things, but I like the idea of my MC being a fucked up girl that sees every single person she knows in terms of tools - including herself. Sheâs not got a Puppetmaster scar - not manipulative enough for it in the end, too little understanding of people - but itâs a damn close second.
I think the PC has pretty much all of the âscarsâ. Itâs just that which one becomes prominent depends on our narrative choices.
I guess I am part of the minority that ended up in the puppet on most of my play-throughs. Just thought Iâd reassure you that weâre out there. On a related note, I was wondering if there might be a Daniel/Puppet route. They only met in passing but they shared an interest in art, and there was an option for the puppet to be physically attracted to Herald. Hope youâre having a good day.
Probably in the latter two books if it ends up being a thing.
We get the option to choose ourselves as a rival. This book we have a puppet who can end up thinking that theyâre us. Obviously the puppet is going to end up dipping into the superhero/villain game. Part of that will entail interacting with Herald.
You mean Sidestep in Puppet?
Think they mean that Daniel will be the one inside the puppet.
Kinky.
