Well there is a variable that tracks whether or not they know you are a telepath, you might be able to go through the entire series without revealing it.

Things will get pretty hairy with a new telepath, first off it’s probably going to come from the special directive, someone ‘trustworthy’ by steel’s standards that he’s comfortable enough to bring in. This telepath will be nowhere near how powerful you are on account of what malin has said on Tumblr and safe assumptions through how the Mc continuously grows stronger with every day. Also who knows what will happen if this other telepath tried to breach the MC’s thoughts. It’s stated Earlier that the more warped a person is the more damaging their mind would be. As seen in the present scene with Pychopather.

They will probably be found out the moment a telepath ties to interact with the MC’s mind. The only example of telepaths interacting has been during the HeartBreak scenes, and that is far from standard so we can’t say for sure. But it’s the implications that come with it that are really trapping. But at some point I think they would find out, or at least someone would…

The mc says that they would most likely not make it out alive, thus leaving me to assume the mc would be the equivalent to another telepath shoving themselves into a woodchipper. Considering how much the /mc’s own mind disturbs their telepathy how would it effect others?

I figure if the trend of randomly overpowered people appearing holds true, I’m gonna blame the government I mean look at the mc, a wad of cash and one mad scientist later and bam you knock out the cities staunch protectors in one go.(Aside from steel)

I kinda feel like he’d be more useful to have on your side… Like, if you manage to get Steel to be your friend, you’d probably have one of the strongest allies you can get in the enhanced world. How funny would it be if someone accused you of being the villain, and Steel just staunchly defended you? You’d practically be untouchable!

Awwww I’m sure he’s gotta soft spot! He did come personally talk to the mc… even if the conversation was a little, uhm, aggressive. I bet there’s a mushy center under all that metal and military training! Just got to find it and manipulate it!

Which makes it one of the favorite romance trope of all. I am hoping for the best for this romance to be available in the future books.

I do recall a passage where the MC also believed at first that there was a mushy, soft center, but Steels interior was hard and craggy as he looked.

I do remember reading that, but I hope that since we are now no longer “impeding” on rangers missions, he’ll consider us less of a threat and more of a “decent” person. On tumblr, malin did say they were writing a friendship arc for him, so atleast thats there! :smile:

I remember thinking of how cute it was that Steel followed the MC to tell them he was glad they turned out to be alive and then he essentially threatens you to stay away from the team. :expressionless: Talk about ruining the moment…

That soft mushy center of his must be buried deep, deep inside that massive cybernetic body.
