Empowered [WIP]

@MaraJade lol sorry I just thought it mite have been updated because of all the comments

You seem love this game. Pm @Fujin to chat about game whatever you want

Yeah, no update as of yet. I am hard at work on getting the first mission for Rigis coded. The style I am writing this particular mission in is intended to be a partial homage to old text based games like Zork. Hopefully it not only comes across as such, but functions as it is supposed to. As of yet, no real problems.

I will then move on and work on the Warden mission and the two side quests, and I will probably aim to get all of those completed before updating again.

Yeah guys, even I waited calmly… :wink:

I wish people wouldn’t spam so much these days… Anyway, I was talking about how you can be nice to her, but then when you decide to go and talk to her the only options are the same ones from before you added the nice option, which fit a lot better then. Either be cold and mean, or just be a psychotic asshole. She acts the same way as well.

He is working in that @Shoelip

@Shoelip

Actually, if you are nice and then knock on the door, she will ask you if everything was truly okay, then you will watch the procession together and leave on good terms.

@wolfwriter20 that didn’t happen with me.

hmm…let me check it.

Edit: Found what was wrong. My code addition for being nice should work now.

(no real new update other than that, just a repost for the page)

@MaraJade Poison sucks. :stuck_out_tongue:

YOU SUCK >:p

Lol That wouldn’t change the fact that poison sucks.

Poisons cloudian by making him suck it

@Cloudian search what uses the spanish w itches do with poison and where did use it you want poison then Mara is suffering internet failures so im off to chat Mara out.

Oh I thought that even if you were nice she still closed the door on you. Nice to see my efforts paid off. Woot!!!

Yeah, that was my bad…I wrote all the new code where she lets you in, etc, and forgot to change the boolean from false to true *facepalm*

Working steadily on the next update, currently sitting at around 5000 words and growing.

For the come back scene, after she says

Balgraan is on the march. In less than a week he will be at our border and war will be upon us once again. But this time, we will make sure that no wayward Empowereds join his cause. We will take you someplace…safe, until the danger has passed

I vote we add in an option to say(only if you refused her advances)
“I apologize, your obviosly mistaking me for someone who gives a damn. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see this from your point of view, I just can’t seem to get my head that far up your ass.
Then have her lean down and say “your just asking to get your ass kicked, aren’t you?” then you can either choose to be intimidated and shut up, or spit back in her face(metaphorically speaking),” talk is cheap, Angie, but then again, apparenntly so are you.(talking to the hunters holding you down) you guys see the way this whore ran after me when I rejected her? Talk about desperate." then have the guards laugh as her face turns red, then she punches/kicks you hard in the face, knocking you out.

That’s mine, adjustments would need to be made for colins scenes and scenes where you went to sleep with her but…

It would be awesome if you added a part like:
Angie: Are you ${name}?
*choice
#No
*goto_scene lietoangie
#Yes, Why
*goto_scene kidnapped
#Whats it to ya
*goto_scene kidnapped

And then at lietoangie you get:
Angie: Really because you have the mark of ${elementalgodpersonthing} like him and you look like him.
*choice
#You got me
*goto_scene kidnapping
#No i got this as a tattoo to fool people
*goto_scene sorrymybad
#How do you know that
*goto_scene kidnapping
#Attack
*goto_scene attackangie

And when you get sorrymybad she goes away thinking it was a mistake, you attck her in attackangie, and kidnapping isthe current scene.

@Syndicate

Ouch. You kinda had that punch to the face coming, then. I will take it into consideration.

@WiReDcHiMpAnZeE

I like where your head is at, but there is no way a full team of Hunters–highly trained Empowered trackers to begin with, not to mention led by The Huntress herself–would be fooled by you so easily.

They know exactly who they are after from the moment they set foot in that bar.

For those out there that are much better coders than I, I have a question;

Is it possible to test three different variables in one *if statement?

For instance, I have:

*if ((have_key) and (have_pin = false) and (have_knife = false))

But when I get to that point in playtesting, it tells me that is illegal. Do I just have the parentheses wrong, or is it not possible to do this at all?

All help is appreciated, and thanks in advance!
