Just to make a note, I want to make clear that I am perfectly happy with the game not having romance on it! I don’t want you, Elena, to feel like you are not making an awesome game! Because you totally are

Alright, so here I go. I’ve been lurking this game for the last month or so and lemme tell you, it’s been a ride. I currently have like two wip fanfics (granted i hate the first cuz it’s trash so i might scrap it but hey xD) 5 play throughs of your demo, and last night i started reading the donor ebook.
At first I was just like, all in on the idea of being a perfect hostage and trying to survive, and then i started realising how much i freaking loved Richard and Paul as people and wanted to both help Lenore be happy but keep my dysfunctional vampire not-lovers Richard can deny caring about you all he wants, but if you choose not to tell charles he won’t be turned, the amount of trouble both paul and richard go through to not eat the most readily available food (not to mention the dirty laundry ending) says alot more than richards tsundere lipping.
Also then I got the uncle richard ending and now I have weird domestic headcanons of that in the (presumably happier) BFFs ending kinda debating writing a fic on it, but idk, as i mentioned before I have a bad habit of hating and then scrapping my stories xD
But I just wanted to say in my awkward rambly way that you have an amazing game <3
Also I did have one question, kinda irrelevant for now, but like, for the BFFs ending do we have to spare Charlie so Paul will let us go? Cuz like, I don’t feel very safe with Charlie alive, cuz even if we escape, i feel like he’s going to come after us, and if we use more than ten pills he’s for sure going to try and murder us, very possibly with pauls help, so like, i know it’s way ahead of time to ask, but since i was here anyways, i figured i’d throw it in xD

I’ve got that habit too… which is why I’ve only written 2 novels in like 10 years (lots of scrapped ideas sitting in my google drive). 
Wish I had some advice on how to overcome it.

Great question! No, you don’t have to save Charles for the BFF ending. Charles IS coming to kill you, and not even Paul would fault the MC for defending herself.

so uh, i do have like, a kinda one shot (the thing i wanted to scrap) if you want that thing, send me a pm and i can give it to you, but you were warned, it’s garbage in my mind xD
also this is good news it means I have absolutely zero qualms about killing charles now, like fine if you wanna argue he was just looking out for himself before, but the bloody revenge ending kinda put him into must die territory for me e.e

Don’t think I ever made the 100% effort to befriend despite liking him more an’ more with time… (no hard feels on the competition, m’boy)

Haha YES! In the original novel, Charlie’s such a one-dimensional baddie that I wanted to flesh him out a little more in the game. So I’ve made it possible to (semi)befriend him and even escape together. Here’s how: If you sabotage the plan to kill Charlie, and you don’t drag him into dinner theater, and you have a decent relationship with him (let’s say over 40-50%), he’ll come back to free you after he’s turned. At that point, you can choose to leave with him or stick it out with Richard and Paul.
