No. The unicorn is thought to be based on an extinct species of rhino called the Elasmotherium. Elasmotherium looked little like a horse, but it had a large single horn in its forehead.

Why are we arguing over unicorns?

I dont have nightmare’s. Only confusing or downright weird dreams. One time it was zombies and i was with characters from my yet to be made games.

As I said, the eastern unicorn (qilin/kirin) does look very rhino-y, but early depictions of the western unicorn look far more like single-horned goats than rhinos.
