Yeah, but that option looks like “Here are some white names and last names, one for diversity and… eh, if you don’t like it fill it yourself” making it look like anyone else that doesn’t fit into that is an afterthought.
I’m not saying that’s what you had on mind or what you wanted to do, but it’s how it can look like. Or shows as the options being what you had in mind for the audience you wanted to reach.
Again, not accusing you of anything, just trying to explain why it’s important to give more diverse options for your players. Such a little thing can do a lot to make them feel welcome in a world where many are literally taken in as an after thought. Specially since for people of color there are lots of games where they literally only get to be a white person if they want to experience the game.

Oh! I see, I never thought of it that way. Every time I played a game I always made my own names for my MC’s so I never considered people actually wanted to use the ones the author gives lol. I will update the list of names and last names as soon as I get the chance. Thanks for the feedback :slight_smile:

This reads so pleasantly! I adore the premise of being a small town witch.

The opening scene was also delightful, always love a ritual and animal masks. It puts a great visual in mind :slightly_smiling_face:!

Hello everyone, I have decided to re-do Demon Bound. What this means is that the current story will be canned and recycled into something else. The name and entire plot will change, but the romantic interests will stay the same (and maybe more added, I haven’t decided that). It saddens me I didn’t get to introduce Saar before this decision but I think this is the correct way to tell this story. I’ll be keeping the old demo up for people to enjoy, and post one last update to include some updates and bug fixes. This does not mean it’s on a hiatus, I will still be working on the game whenever possible. I will close this thread for now, and reopen it when I’m ready to post the new work (which will be of the same premise, i.e. witches, demons, and the occult).
