What you’re saying is basically what Batman’s son Damian called him out on in the injustice game based of the comic on the same title. He basically says “you’re fine not killing, but you’re okay with inflicting permanent brain damage” or something along those lines🤣
He’s not wrong (I think the best paid career in Gotan City would be a surgeon because the number of people who must arrive at the hospital being completely broken is no joke)
In certain cases permanent brain damage can lead to death if the victim ain’t found fast so yeah Batsy lowkey leaves thugs on streets or buildings possibly bleeding internally to death… just gonna throw that out here since we are talking about it lol
Let’s keep things on topic, please.
I’m making a character that has powers related to metals (metal skin, flying only with metal and telekinesis with metal) but I can’t think of Sensory and Miscellaneous powers that make sense with my character, does anyone have any ideas?
Since you already included ferro kinesis, then might as well pick mind reading since ferro kinesis is a psychic ability after all. I don’t think any of the current miscellaneous powers would make sense except for enhanced endurance.
Is there any reason why we don’t have a physical description (eye color, hair color, skin color, etc.) of Kyra? Or does it have a description but I’m stupid and ended up missing it?
Super speed probably shouldn’t be a power in this story. It’s not used well and makes the protag seem incompetent.
@Dvalor53 I’m not sure I understand exactly how the dynamics between speed and reflexes works but I guess what I really want to know is would it be viable to build an MC that has both Superspeed and Hyper Reflex and perform well just like with any other powers or would that not be recommended? Basically, what I thought was if I have both Superspeed and Hyper Reflex and if I try to use Superspeed, will my MC suddenly trip out of nowhere trying to speed up or not being able to dodge in time in close combat cause the speed is messing up my flow?
As a Flash fan, I’ve made a speedster MC and found the superspeed in the story inconsistent. I gave it less criticism seeing as the author might be going for a realistic application of superspeed, there are a few scenes that sidelined superspeed, even when it’s the most optimal choice but due to pushing the plot and stakes it’s just never utilized to its full potential. When a certain character named Torque was introduced I was seething when he practically outclassed my 100-speed MC performing acts I wished we did. As of now, I’ll let him cook hoping for some speedster love.
19th MC: Emera Green
Job: IT
Appearance: Long straight silver ponytail hairstyle. Dark complexion. Green eyes and Curvy physique. Open Trench Coat, Tank Top, Jeans, Fingerless Gloves, Shoes. (All Black)
Civilian Profile
Emera is someone who likes to enjoy life whenever she can but she’s also someone who’s not shy of taking it also. She’s a sly woman who’s willing to manipulate others to get what she wants and even dirty her own hands if she has to if necessary. Despite this kind of personality, she is someone who takes care of those close to her, maybe even dangerously so. Once, when she saw someone harassing one of her female co-workers, she walked up to them and nearly crippled them using her martial arts skills. Thankfully no charges was filed since the perpetrators involved was known troublemakers and no one would come to their defenses anyway.
Some years ago when she was younger, Emera was a shy, reserved girl and maybe because of that nature, she was often teased and bullied in school whether it was by other girls around her age or older boys trying to stand out to their lackeys. Eventually she met someone, a neighbor’s child who goes to the same school as her and decided to try and befriend Emera when she saw how other students were treating her. After spending time with her friend, Emera slowly started breaking out of her shell and speaking with more confidence. Though the bullying slowed the process somewhat (especially when they started targeting her friend which led Emera to develop a protective nature towards them).
A few years later when they entered high school, an accident happened that caused her friend to lose their life. Devastated, Emera withdrew into her shell once more and even entered a state of depression by eating less, talking less and even not going to school for a time because everything would remind her of what she had lost. After her father managed to convince her to go back to school, she came upon a shocking revelation when she overheard one of the past bullies. The cause of her friend’s death was because she saw the group of past bullies mugging an innocent person and when she tried to stop it, one of them shoved her into the street which led to her getting hit by a car. Emera wondered why this wasn’t mentioned on the news or even gossiped among her schoolmates. After some time searching, she found out that one of the bullies who was recently in juvie has a influential family member who covered up the incident and made it look like an accident. Hence, the criminal was never charged for their involvement for their murder.
Deadly furious, Emera decided to enact revenge going with the phrase “An Eye for an Eye, A Tooth for a Tooth, A Life for a Life”. Using the intellect she honed over the years, she figured out her target’s lifestyle and habits and used her acrobatics from going to gym often to stealthily follow her target until they entered a place that was secluded and when she found the chance, she struck and killed them. Surprisingly for her, the kill felt scarily easy for her. Not because the target was no match for her but that she didn’t hyperventilate, panic or start breaking down like how most people react with their first kill. She wasn’t even excited or thrilled that she did it. The only thing she felt was a cold calm and a small relief that she got revenge for her friend. While she expect that her friend wouldn’t have wanted this kind of revenge, Emera felt that this type of revenge is only natural for someone she cared about a lot. Using the knowledge she has gained before following her target, she made sure to make the kill look like an accident and even hired some thugs to move the body somewhere the target frequents to make the “accident” more convincing. She won’t deny that she will feel some small joy at how her target’s loved one (if they had any) will react at the irony of their death being labeled as “accidental”.
Back to the present, before arriving at her home, she got struck by lightning and surprisingly, instead of dying immediately, she gained powers that enhanced her physical abilities and even gave her some advanced knowledge which she used to build herself a sleek power armor to not only enhance her abilities even further but also give herself some new ones. Though instead of being a Superhero who’ll spare most of their enemies or a Vigilante who’ll waste time deciding on what to do with them, she decided on being a Anti-Hero with the mindset of “The only good criminal is a dead criminal”.

20th MC: Ashlynn Blaze
Job: Factory Worker
Appearance: Medium Wavy Maned Red Hair. Dark Complexion. Amber Eyes and Defined Muscles Physique. Hoodie, Gloves, Pants and Accessories.
Civilian Profile
There are those who says violence is wrong and that they never solve problems. Some of those people who say those phrases never met Ashlynn, who embodies the phrase “If the problem haven’t been solved with violence, Then you’re not using enough violence.” Ashlynn likes to get into fights whenever she gets the chance to. Because of that, she developed a thrill seeking mentality that often has her rushing headlong into danger. Though she makes sure not to let that affect the people around her if she can help it.
While she was coming home after a recent fight with a group of gang members, Ashlynn got struck by lightning and collapsed. When she woke up in the hospital and took in her surroundings, she felt a surge of heat that was flaring up in her hands and started panicking once she saw her hands on fire but after a few moments, she calmed down once she felt the fire wasn’t burning her and that she could control it to an extent.
Arriving at her room in the apartment complex, Ashlynn tried varying methods of seeing if she unlocked any more powers and found out that she has enhanced strength and durability, her stamina was much greater now, fast regeneration and limited control over metal using some spells that appeared in her head. She also discovered that her senses were heightened including her sense of combat and she could see in the dark like a cat. Ashlynn heard about the crimes in her neighborhood increasing and decided this would be a good opportunity to test her powers on those who most people wouldn’t mind going missing. After using some of her money buying Kevlar armors and some additional clothing to add some flair, she took up the moniker of Inferno with the goal of showing everyone who’s the boss of this street and who to fear when night arrives.

Wow! I think i only did two? Haven’t yet passed the party still at all.
I should try but latest speedster comments? I think it best not to still. I couldn’t pass the party at that time. Now this?
What are you talking about?
There were a few portraits of Ashlynn in her civilian persona that I had a hard time deciding on. I kind of wanted everyone’s opinion on which portraits they felt was the best.
3 or 5.
3 which I like the most
4, just 4.
Number 2 or 3.
Although I would choose portrait 2.
That’s very difficult to decide.
You said you have 20+ characters?
I only at most did two runs. One person. As I trnd to only do once unless its really good then couple more.
Just wondering if you max out toughness will your MC be bulletproof?
Not alone. That much toughness would make your bones bulletproof. In tangent with power armor or metal/stone skin the MC will be bulletproof.
