Hey all, heads up that Dashingdon will be closing at the end of January: > [@Dashingdon: Free ChoiceScript Game Hosting](https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/dashingdon-free-choicescript-game-hosting/9250/798): > > Hello all, I am no longer able to maintain the [dashingdon.com](http://dashingdon.com) system and server. It is terribly outdated and there are creeping security concerns. So, unfortunately, I will be shutting down the service at the end of this month. The URL will be redirected to cogdemos.ink and all users and games will be permanently deleted (mostly to prevent any user/pass/email leaks). This community is a small light in the vast darkness and it was a great honor to provide this service to my fellow writers for a… This means that if you have a game hosted there, you should host it somewhere else. There are a few alternatives: - [cogdemos.ink](https://cogdemos.ink/) is the successor to Dashingdon and you can upload text files to it in much the same way You can also [follow these instructions](https://www.choiceofgames.com/make-your-own-games/exporting-and-publishing-your-game/) to export your game to html. Once you have that file, you can upload it: - Here on the forum as a downloadable attachment - To [itch.io](http://itch.io). See [here](https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/how-to-put-up-your-wip-on-itch-io/164165) for detailed instructions - To your own website Thanks so much to @dashingdon for all the incredible work he’s done to support the community here over the years, and to @EvilChani for taking on the job of maintaining cogdemos.ink. ---
