Which why we should be able to show a certain degree of our actual strength to make them see all they are doing is pointlessly throwing bodies at us all for that fool who couldn’t accept being beaten in the tournament despite it being clear as day the difference between us even suppressed that much.

Gu Hao definetelly creeped me tf out more in this version than previously, like even with an OP MC, he still felt unsettling

Definitely a creep who would have successfully carried out his plan if it was someone else. Thank god MC literally came from heaven if u told him your name. We could probably find his creepy sus friends easily if our MC wasn’t lazy. Sorry aunt but looks like we have to unleash some of our power when his pals come knocking at the sect

Demon MC revealing their true nature or form to Gu Hao would be cool to see. An MC who reverts to their demon form whenever they face a demonic cultivator would be very entertaining.

So is it just me, or is anybody else surprised that the MC hasn’t eaten people before? I’ve kinda just assumed the MC is a foodie, so I thought they’d have the option to do something like this sooner, although maybe I just missed a choice.

U can do it earlier in the story in the forbidden forest on one of the cultivators who killed the animal we were hunting. Obviously our aunt will be understandably freaked out and try to tell us never to do it again.

Not really, no. Not even slightly. Either be fun play around or end quickly.
My guess is, THAT is how we get informed of our place. Him only important to allow us to finally see we came from Beyond Heavens, possibly the one that helps us understand we took all the power of those Heavens into us at birth.
That is my thought on why he is important enough fly in a bucket.

I again imagined I started walking around like an old lady with arms behind back, as a 13 yr old girl, kicking the demonic guy down.

unless he goes after our friends and kidnaps them if he finds out about a certain strong brat killed one of his guys it should be fine. He will just keep sending people until he gets annoyed with constant failure. Seems like the kind of guy not caring about losing people but rather to make an example out of someone who would challenge his group. His demon magic actually shows wny its highly shunned which explains why Li’s family reputation is awful

That’s what I’m thinking too dude honestly doesn’t strike me as the type to fight personally. Plus i could definitely see him targeting the MC’s friends or family instead of facing us head on that would be a much bigger threat emotionally than physically and yeah this guy doesn’t care much about sacrificing his own people what he does seem to care about is authority and reputation and if someone is constantly humiliating his faction it will feel like a kick to the middle which is the kind of thing that would make him take action PERSONALLY and that time it might be in a direct way rather than indirect way like.
But there’s something else I’ve been wondering about for a while we already know the MC is ridiculously overpowered in terms of talent, cultivation, and raw strength that’s literally one of the main appeals of the story. what I’m curious about is whether the author also plans to showcase that same level of superiority in the MC’s intellect,emotional control, and psychological understanding.
I’m not necessarily talking about making the MC a manipulative mastermind for the sake of it i mean moments where the MC is several steps ahead, understands people’s motives before they act, predicts how enemies will respond and wins Intellectual, Tactical and maybe Political battles before they even begin the kind of intelligence where opponents think they’re in control only to realize they were playing into the MC’s hands the whole time.
That’s actually why I think this current antagonist could be interesting physically we all don’t expect him to be a real obstacle for the MC. But if he starts targeting the RuRu JiJi etc, manipulating other sects spreading rumors or forcing the MC into situations where every decision has consequences then we’d get to see a different side of the protagonist not whether the MC is stronger we already know that but how the MC handles problems that can’t simply be solved by overwhelming force.
I’m also curious about the pacing from the Original Version not the Rewrite Version he’s did seem like he is here to bridge us toward the Beyond Heavens storyline and that could definitely be the case considering we got to know the Nether Realm. But I honestly wouldn’t mind if he stayed relevant for a while not because I think he can beat the MC but because a persistent intelligent enemy can sometimes add more tension than another opponent who’s simply stronger.
What do y’all think? Do you guys want to see the MC overwhelm everyone through absolute power or would y’all like more moments that highlight just how terrifying the MC’s mind can be as well? I feel like those two things together would make an already overpowered protagonist even more entertaining to read just saying.
