The public version of the game has been updated with its first rewrite update. The current length of the rewrite version is now 22K words long.

On summary above it’s said be a living god among mortals, but are we a god or an immortal?
I like how we can pick a race now instead of it just being done for us. Will characters act differently in the story for choosing a specific race. Maybe our sister is traumatized from the attack making her uneasy having a Phoenix sibling for example.

In the upper realm where immortal resides there are different cultivation realms just like in the lower realm. Among these realms is a realm called Godhood Transformation realm, anyone who has entered this real is called god.
The Li family is standing the very top of upper realm and both of mc’s parents have surpassed that realm long ago and as their child mc is by default born into the godhood. (Even without mc’s parents surpassing that realm mc would still be stronger than that realm, so yes you can say that mc is a born god.)

Yes, some characters are gonna treat you differently depend on your race and there will be race based choice as well in the game. But if your race isn’t gonna make any changes in how Ruolan feels around you.
Ruolan has been living with you for months before she encountered and just because a random phoenix barged into her house and trying to kill her, this isn’t enough for her to hate/fear an entire race.

The aim of the rewrite seems to be revision and improvement on what was already written- fundamentally it’s the same story/game so it wouldn’t make much sense for them to continue writing for both I’d imagine.

Hello, I read the free version of the rewrite and I’m really excited for it (especially if you can shapeshift during the story) also, I saw a few issues with the gender, I made a quilin girl but the parents and grandpa sometime use “him” or “he” while talking to or about her.

Sometimes I get a little immersed into the story while writing it that my brain forget about writing the pronouns as variables. Thank you for informing me about this, I’ve corrected them.

Thank god since I feel weird picking that one knowing what would happen. Our sis doesn’t care what we are even if it’s the outcasted demon. Probably helps we saved her and fixed injuries. Feels more lively now that scenes are more fleshed out compared to the old and characters will react differently to races making them relevant while adding replayability.
