Uhm… It could be both. Depending on how our MC behave. Right now I created 4 MC. One Is a small shy rookie, love paperworks and following rules. If she would try to pursue Mari I doubt she will do a one night stand. The second is a Cold veterand that want to join internal affairs. I doubt he would pursue Mari. The third is and fourth are free spirits so they could just stop at the one night stand or continue to a romantic relationship.

I’ll answer to all three posts at once.
Sorry to say this, but the one night stand is supposed to be the replacement for a romance. 
I’m not a romance writer. I don’t know how to write one, especially a game-long one. And, even more importantly, that isn’t the kind of content I’m interested in writing.
Now, nothing is truly set to stone and I might change my mind, but the fact is that I have no real romances planned. The romantic content is meant to be extra flavor to the story, rather than a substory of its own, so to speak. Sure, there will be the occasional change in dialogue and scenes due to romance(or the one night stand), but there will be very few romance-exclusive scenes/variations.
The only exception are the after-credits scenes, where I’ll be doing a zillion variants simply because there won’t be any consequences to them, so I can go wild. And I do have planned a few for romances too, even for Mari Badr if certain specific things end up happening.
I’ll do my best, but I can’t expend much effort on it in the end. There’s much to be done, and I have the habit of bloating everything, but I’d really want to not bloat this aspect too.
I’ll think on the matter again once I’ve more or less done the Major Update otherwise(so hopefully this year). Clearly lots of people want romances, yes, but I really don’t think I can deliver what they want in the end, truly. And trying to please everyone will divide my efforts so I can’t focus on what I personally want, and that’ll diminish my motivation, etc.
I’m glad the response to the newest update was so positive, since it’s going to be, let’s say, 80% of all “romantic” content with Mari Badr. So, practically speaking, if you don’t take part in the one night stand you’ll be missing out on the romance altogether. (again, probably, since it’s not set in stone, but I don’t have further plans for elaborate romances)
It might be disappointing, but that’s simply the way it is at the moment.

Already at the dry phase of the disease, which is quite surprising since the friend I got it from is in worse shape than I am, although he too is at the dry stage. Overall it hasn’t been all that bad compared to how it was for him at worst.
Now that I think of it, was I sick at all last year? I don’t think so. Yet the one before that I had corona twice and the noro-virus, which was pretty tough to say the least.
Anyway, I’ll continue tomorrow. Probably could’ve worked today too, but decided to play it safe and catch up on some entertainment.

Alright, I’m pretty much cured now. Started working today, a bit. As usual, it’s tough to get back to the routine, but it shouldn’t be too hard since the work is pretty easy at present. Should be done by the end of the week even if I’m lazy, but we’ll see.
It was nice having a complete break from the work, in the sense that I decided not to work, rather than not working due to anxiety or other factors. Should do it more often, I think.

Not yet, but fortunately I misunderstood the real life deadline I’m having. It’s the 7th rather than the 5th, which gives me a bit more time. So, let’s say on the 6th at the very latest. Really would like to get it done by the 5th, though. We’ll see, as usual.
In any case, I’ll really finalize stuff now and strip away the things that aren’t to my liking. I really can’t spend much more time on this since it’s quite tertiary all things considered, even if it’s always good to learn to write new things.

It would be pretty funny if having the high cybernetics option or the first aid medical implants option let us drink the oiled coffee after or even before Carrington drank it just to mess with her even more. High cybernetics because it implies that parts of the digestive system were replaced with a more robust technological version, First aid to counteract the oil while it’s still being digested.
Even funnier if a cop without those options still had the option to drink the brew anyways and endure the effects out of sheer spite to screw with her even more.

Try as I might, I still couldn’t get it ready today, even after merging certain things and removing others. Simply put, there was too much stuff to go through and parts of it were only mostly finished for some reason I don’t remember. I thought I had more or less completed all of it. Fortunately most of it is/was easy enough to finish.
So, annoyingly, I’ll have to do it tomorrow, which isn’t great for my real life stuff. Still, it’d be even more annoying to not finish it ASAP at this point due to the delays, as I really don’t want to leave it for later(I’ll be busy for a few days so no writing, perhaps until the weekend at least).
Since I’m in a sort of “rush”, there might be more coding mistakes for some things than usual, so be on the lookout for weirdness in the text, like misuse of terms. I already spotted a few places where I hadn’t used the proper “codeword” for something and instead used a non-code word(aka normal word) instead, which isn’t in line with the “censorship” system I have in place. I’m sure there are more of them. This probably makes very little sense at the moment without context, but I’m saying this now in case I forget to say it tomorrow when I post the update.

Sigh. Too busy and really have to focus on real life stuff. Won’t be able to do much until the weekend. As usual, sorry for the unrealistic deadline estimation. 
Probably good to not rush it, but really, I can’t spend too much time on this if I want Cyberpolice done this year, so I have to finish it during the weekend for real, rather than just “hopefully”. I guess I’ll have to change my attitude into a less perfectionist one, but it ain’t so easy.
Less polishing, more getting things done. Less expanding and bloating, more finalizing, etc. If it starts looking like the things I make have taken a turn for the worse, I’ll reconsider, but from now on the mentality will be one of “get it done” rather than “get it done perfectly”. So it’ll be extra important that the polls I do reflect the quality of the updates.
In any case, will probably be posting just a “I’m still alive” kind of post until the weekend.

Cool idea. It might be possible, but I’ll have to consider it once everything is almost finished and I see how the story ends up in practice(instead of how I’ve planned it, since I’ll probably need to cut a few things out here and there).
Although, of course, there’s the possibility of working for someone DURING the story rather than just as a start, so…
As for a secret designer soldier, a hard no to that for a bunch of reasons that I won’t explain.
